  1. So if GL76 changed comics forever (and I'm not saying it didn't) and was so groundbreaking socially, why did it get cancelled a year later? It obviously didn't resonate with most people at the time.
  2. Indeed. I missed the Batman "title" part, but I don't think that's why people care. It's all about the cover, not the fact that it's the first time he worked on the specific title.
  3. So what does that have to do with Batman 423? He worked on Batman Year Two in Detective a year earlier.
  4. Comics Feature 20 came out the same month and can be found for under $10 in numerous places (including $4 in G/S/B).
  5. HOS92 is the clear winner to me and it isn't even debatable. You have the first appearance of a major character for the last 40+ years versus a book with a cool cover that got cancelled less than a year later. The catch is that MAYBE you can argue that GL76 changed comics forever, thus being more historically significant, but I don't think it will ever pass Swamp Thing value wise.
  6. A lot of that is because people still think Spawn 1 is a worthless book. I know guys that have long boxes of Spawn 1, they just never take them to a show because they think they're $3-5. I dont' have a single copy of ASM 300 for sale, but I could throw a dozen Spawn 1's on my wall if I wanted to.
  7. Pretty sure these are all common, but I still shouldn’t leave them in $1 boxes, especially when they’re all from one dealer, right?
  8. Sell them as sets Read them if you like zombies or being confused as hell with Flashpoint.
  9. Supes 75 Unbagged Superman/Batman 13B (both) Wolverine 88 (x3) Zatanna 10 X-Force 116 (all 3)
  10. Do you think this is true in all grades? Would you feel as safe buying three 9.8 NM98's vs an 8.0 IH181 (both would roughly cost $2300) and see the same rate of return on your money spent?
  11. Only if there's straight up graphic penetration involved. I have no use for tasteful nudity.........
  12. My LCS got his today and it included 16 signed books. I don't know what they are, but it seems like a decent deal, whether to flip or for a fan to keep.
  13. I've had Infinity War sets on my wall and in my set boxes for $30 for a year and maybe sold one. I haven't had a show in a couple of months though (changes 12/17) so maybe things have changed!
  14. He just came back to the current Marvel Universe this week so that's fueling it this time. I have sold multiple copies at $15-20 over the last few months and don't expect that to change anytime soon. But yes........I am only keeping one copy.
  15. I had a guy tell me that had a shop back in the 90's that he received them straight from the distribution company like that as his regular order. The place i bought them from was an old store that had gone out of business in the mid 90s and took hundreds of boxes to an antique mall in NC and just had everything out there at $1 or less.
  16. I'd love to sell to you if I did! Sadly I did not. I also found half a dozen or so of 48-50, but sold them as sets. These have been sitting in a box for a few years.
  17. How many of y'all are ordering a Mystery Box? I've never ordered anything from his site, but at a little over $10 a book, it's hard to go wrong...............right? I assume most of what you'll get is the variants he has on sale at $15, but the 25 book box should have SOMETHING worth a flip (you can take that either way) in it. I may take a flyer on one of the 25 packs, keep what I want and see if I can move the others for at least $15 at one of the many cons I do. Thoughts?
  18. So these aren’t rare? Are you sure? Can we act like they are and they only seem common because I found all these at the same time (I did).
  19. Bought two slabs from Adam and they arrived fast and well packed. Don't hesitate to deal with him!
