  1. THAT's what I'm talking about. If Hughes doesn't bring them in, then no one will!
  2. I don't understand the negative implications as they relate to Bloodshot. What do you think this does?
  3. I'm headed to Germany next week and want to try and hunt for some comics while I'm there. I'll be in Frankfurt one day, Paderborn for a few, maybe Amsterdam one day, and have a car and can drive anywhere while the wife is working. Any tips on whee to look, especially for Dagobert Duck (Uncle Scrooge) and the rest of the Disney Duck family.
  4. Is 609 or 619 (I think that's the actual first appearance of Hush) the book to get if you're a huge fan of the Hush character and think it has huge upside?
  5. I was well aware of that. All of that is high for an unproven show in a town that has always had issues supporting large scale shows. Hence, my comment about a strong guest list to justify that price still stands. All you need is a few of the right names. I'm not saying anything negative, just stating facts as they seem to me.
  6. I'm still a big fan of Firestorm 1. First appearance of a mid-level JLA character who would look awesome on the big screen. The only issue holding it back could be the chance that they use the Rusch character instead of Ronnie Raymond. Nice raw's can still behad for well under $50 and 9.4 slabs for under $100 shipped to your door.
  7. I know they did with the ASM 361 as I sold multiple 9.6s for between $225-250 within a couple of days on eBay. Now you can get a 9.8 for $300 or so and a 9.6 for $125. A rising tide lifts all boats theory in full effect.
  8. Doesn't belong here. It should be posted here....... https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/19-comics-market-sales-advertising-ebay-dealers-etc/
  9. I was wondering. I bought a collection a few years ago that had that full run and none of those were in there!
  10. They better come with a strong guest list at $60 admission.
  11. I didn’t know you wanted a discussion. I thought you might just be out for information.
  12. Go to MCS, CCL, and look at their prices, That will tell you what matters. Or use the @Key Collector Comics app. That's what is was made for. All better options than waiting for someone on here to tell you.
  13. Saw a guy pull a Punisher Armory 9 out of a .50 box yesterday. It was the first time I'd ever seen one in the wild. Still never seen a 10.
  14. It's a terrible first appearance too. Just a small image of a million lanterns in a DPS. I still sell them for $15 raw when labeled as their 1st apps, but they buyers may be disappointed when they get home (provided they actually open it).
  15. I looked through mine as well and din't see it anywhere either. I thought maybe it was the first time she used her present powers, but that can't be right either. CGC is the one who notes NM14 as her first appearance as Magik. Of course they also note UXM 160 as first app of "adult" Ilyana, although other than Mississippi and West Virginia, I can't think of anywhere that 13 is considered an adult.
  16. It was indeed, but she was still just Illyana, not the Magik character (although it was called Magik). She basically has three first appearances. GSX 1 as a character, UXM as an adult character, and NM14 as the superhero called Magik.
  17. I agree as the direct mrket was still in it's infacy in the early 80's. To my point, I guarantee that people are still choosing the newwstand as the rarer version of the two. I'm sure high grade versions are rarer, but not overall.
  18. Let's clarify that a little. 160 is the fiirst adult Illyana Rasputin. New Mutants 14 is the first appearance of Magik.
  19. What year does the direct market take over quantity wise from newsstand? As an example, are there more Hulk 271 (1982) direct than newsstand and is the perception different from the reality? Most people see newsstand and think rarer.
