  1. Had to be after 7pm Friday or EARLY Saturday as I bought 98 $1 books from him on Saturday AM before the show opened. Yellow dots for $1, green were $2, etc. If you left all that behind for me THANKS much! Edit : Actually now I remember that I was still shopping from him after the show had barely opened instead of being at my booth. When I finally got back, the guy next to me handed me $35 for sales I made while I was digging.....BONUS!
  2. Also, not that they have gone from over $200 a week ago to $150ish today.
  3. Well played. I'd still argue there are a LOT more collectors/speculators who for Deadpool and his first appearance than a variant of a C level character by Adam Hughes.
  4. People must not be aware that they let retailers with store exclusives qualify for this. There are online sites with 50 copies of this book!
  5. In my experience, everything sells better as a set or at least makes it easier to unload the other issues that no one cares about.
  6. Where were those?!? I picked over 100 $1 books before the show opened on Saturday. Did you get them Friday night?
  7. Extended one issue? Heck, it only went two more after that!
  8. I don't own a shop, just a weekend warrior who probably does 20 shows a year. Don't get me wrong, it's a great resource that I wish I had when I bought a 14k book orignal owner collection from 1962-87 a few years ago as I know I missed some good books and they went to my $1/$3 boxes. It just levels the playing field for people who I don't think necessarily deserve it to be evened for. I've spent the last 30 years gaining this knowledge and now it has the potenetial to be in every yahoo's hand in the world!
  9. How is that possible?!? There had to be many more printed than there were subscriptions. Issues made it to shops and presumably newsstands. Comichron estimates approximately 10k issues sold through Diamond alone.
  10. You should probably just wholesale those to me at the next CLT show........
  11. @BishopT Oddly enough, I found the only copies I've ever found of 58 and 60 in a $1 box in Columbia, SC as well back in April. They're actually posted in this thread.
  12. Great. Now all the people who know absolutely nothing can cherry pick all the good stuff at flea markets, second hand sellers, etc. Same as the the people that Amazon app and scan every video game, DVD, etc to see if they’re worth anything.
  13. Color-breaking spine stresses. Notice that 9 of them are newsstand versions, which probably has something to do with it, even though the nicest is a newsie.
  14. Picked these up from a dealer at a local show today. One of the 10 MIGHT be a 9.4, but the rest aren’t even close. You may be on to something here......
  15. Thanks for this. I just got 20 minutes of enjoyment reading through their auctions. I love how they deal in decimal places. And the Page Quality - 7 (out of ten) Yellow Tan made me chuckle.........as did the 5.4 (actually a 54.25) they have for sale.
  16. I've never see one in person or for sale anywhere. I know two issues exist but that's it.
  17. The Direct Sales box is the key. If you see a Spidey box with the blank margin at the top (where 30th Anniversary" was, it's a JC Penney variant. The Spidey JC Penney's (Web 81, Spec 156) are a little harder to discern unless you can see the back cover, which will have a Stridex ad.
  18. Batman 232 CGC arrived quickly, securely packed, and in great shape! Thanks again, Greg!
