  6. Yeah, when I saw it I knew I wasn't letting that get away. Some have said pop it out but I it the way it is. I had an old collector in last week who has been buying comics off the rack since the early 60's and he said you would never see these anywhere, let alone not being opened.
  7. Good morning, CGC Boards! (In Robin Williams voice) Working on a couple of deals but nothing finalized. PM me in anything sparks your interest.
  8. Super Rare, Sealed Batpac Special from 1966. Includes 4 Comics: Batman #181, Metal Men #20, Justice League #45, and World's Finest #158 The Batman #181 is the focal point of the pack of course, as it contains the first appearance of Poison Ivy. From the front it looks like a stunning 8.5 Very Fine+. The colors are dripping, which is very hard to find on the comic. It would be 9.0, but there is a small impact ding on the spine in the middle. The two center comics, Metal Men #20 and Justice League #45, appear to be 9.0+, and the World's Finest an 8.5. Old School collectors and comic enthusiasts will attest how difficult it was back in the 1960's to locate these sealed packs, let alone still find them today still sealed. This is a truly rare opportunity to add a piece of comic history to your collection. Asking $3300 Shipped (Overnight). Or first reasonable offer.
  9. Thanks, Jon. Good to be seen for sure. I hope you've been well!
  10. Lady Luck #89 from Quality Comics 1950 Tough book to find in general, but especially in nice shape. Grade: 5.5- Fine. Nice copy. 1 inch tear on left side of back cover. Everything is complete, attached at the staples and there is no restoration. Asking $450 Shipped. Or first reasonable offer.
  11. Keen Detective Comics #21 from Centaur Publications 1940 Tough 1940 Centaur Comic. Very hard to find in any condition. Grade: 5.0 Very Good/Fine. Complete with no restoration. Everything is attached at the staples, except the centerfold is detached at the bottom staple. The book would grade higher, but there is a long crease on the front cover starting by the bottom staple, going by the "10c" through the "D" in Detective to the top of the cover. The is very supple and has great colors. A superb example of a very difficult book to find. There are two pencil markings on the front cover; a "1940" written in the top left corner and a "P.M." There are some pencil markings in the top left corner of the back cover and a store stamp at the top center. written in the smoke coming from the ships. Asking Sold!
  12. Ghostly Weird Stories #122 from Star Publications 1954 Classic L.B. Cole Pre-Code Horror Cover. Tough book to find. Grade: 5.0 Very Good/Fine. Great looking copy of tough book. Nice color and gloss. Thin vertical crease going down the entire cover in the middle of the "W". Nice page quality. Everything is attached at the staples, the book is complete, and there is no restoration. That is my shadow in the bottom right corner of some of the pics :), not a stain. Asking Sold!
  13. Fantastic Comics #16 from Fox Features Syndicate 1941 Hard to Find Issue Grade: 4.0 Very Good, with no restoration. The book does have tape on the interior cover. There is a piece of tape fixing about 1 1/2 inch spine splite at the bottom and a piece of tape at each staple. The tape is not keeping the cover on, just reinforcing the paper. It looks to be completely unnecessary. The book complete and everything is attached at the staples. The book would grade higher but there is some moisture damage on the bottom left corner of the book and some very light moisture damage along the spine on the back cover. There is about a 1 inch split at the top of the spine and some small pieces missing on the edges of the front cover and two on the back. The cover has some moderate to heavy tanning but is not brittle. Small pencil marking on front cover. The pages are cream and supple. This is a "fantastic" copy of a very tough book to find. Presents very nicely for the grade. Asking $450 Shipped. Or first reasonable offer.
  14. Fantastic Comics #12 from Fox Features Syndicate 1941 Hard to Find Issue Grade: 4.0 Very Good, with no restoration. The book is complete and everything is attached at the staples. The book would grade higher but there is some moisture damage on the bottom left corner of the book and some very light moisture damage along the spine on the back cover. All moisture stains only affect the cover and lightly the first interior wrap, and barely on the second interior wrap. Small piece out of the back cover. Pages are supple off-white. Asking Sold!
