Hey, the feedback is up for that WD #1 Black Label that I auctioned off a couple of weeks ago. The winner was a guy out of Canada who has been building his WD collection as of late. It stuck, just check out my feedback in the next few days or so. The winner has been buying high dollar WD stuff lately. The second highest bidder has no activity this year except some purchase in may from bulletproofguards. Last year, they bought several runs of stuff like Chew and Fables. I guess they saw this and wanted it. Again, I feel very fortunate and I think there were a lot of factors involved. Yes, publicly. The only other black label on eBay right now is a 9.6 w/ a BIN of $2k. Lots of factors to consider, but that could of been one. Besides, black labels are certainly not as easy to find as white labels.

Look at the bidding. Why would I put a super high bid that I would likely get stuck with? If I was shilling, don't you think I would have stopped at $3k, if not sooner, and not $3700?! I understand your concern for shilling and I would probably be suspicious too. I think I was just fortunate. Right time, right place kind of things.

That is my auction and two people put in really high bids. I don't know these people and don't believe I have ever dealt with either buyer. I don't shill and never have.

Brittle pages absolutely kill a book. That alone would drop it three or four full points at a minimum. Yeah , in hindsight I do remember thinking the pages were off but I didn't think brittle. Oh we'll. Great TOS 39 by the way. Killer grade and copy.
