@elibowman this is correct. My brother will be setting up, but I’ll be at a conference that weekend so I’ll unfortunately be missing the show.

I’ve heard that Byrne will only sign his current project, which I believe is a Star Trek graphic novel. No exceptions. Maybe/hopefully this changes, but I’m skeptical it will.

Charlie bought a batch of books out of my last sales thread and it was an enjoyable and flawless transaction. He’s great to work with!

My focus is on the pre-hero. I am maybe a third of the way there in grades I am happy with. As for the hero books, I will pick up any copy I can find cheap (or keep for free out of collections I have bought). I've got about a third of those in G-VGish. I had a #110 that I traded for at a show I was set up at (came back from CGC 3.0), but decided to sell it to fund other books.

I'm doing the same thing. Pacing myself is helping with the cost, though it is getting pricey even at my preferred grade level of 6.0-7.5.

Excellent show as usual. I didn't spend very much this time, due to saving up for a bigger book, but I did get a few autographs that I am really excited about. In particular, I have wanted to see JM DeMatteis at a show for 20+ years and finally got to shake his hand and tell him how much I've enjoyed his writing. It sounded like the dealers were doing reasonably well, which is always a good sign. Looking forward to the summer edition of this show! Photos are of one row of creator tables the night before the show, and my OO ASM #293 that I had signed old school on the first page by the creative team.

My first DCUs of the new year. The Action is a new book for my collection, the Advs of Superman is an upgrade. Picked them up from a dealer at the North Texas show.
