  1. CGC's events page does not list Fandemic Houston as a show they are setting up for.
  2. I wonder why? CGC really was fast on my other tiers of books submitted at the same time. But they are crawling on this tier. The book is a Marvel Graphic Novel. Maybe that's why? I have two moderns I had them press, just as an experiment. At very nearly three calendar months, with the books not even at CGC yet, I can’t say I’m impressed. These were finally received at CGC today. So maybe I’ll see them by Halloween.
  3. If the custom title reflects the vote of the users of the site that might cushion them from liability. At least it wouldn’t be a unilateral decision and would incorporate input from the users of the site. I still think it would be the most useful solution, and the way the policy was worded would theoretically distance mods from the decision.
  4. Graded 9/6 Good to know. One of my invoices that has vanished from my tracking screen is a Value SS done at Denver. Should be about a week behind yours. My invoice screen came back. My 6/21 dated slow boat Value SS from Denver is graded.
  5. Couldn't they get a custom title so everyone knows who they are dealing with? If you don't bother to check the list you wouldn't know they are a member, whereas a scarlet letter would let everyone be informed.
  6. @ExodusGear, I found this: Link
  7. FYI, if it’s for Bruce Campbell you might want to check to see if he’ll sign the book in question before you crack it out. I seem to recall that he wouldn’t sign certain comics because of some dispute (can’t remember the specifics, though they may be searchable).
  8. If past years are any indication, yes.
  9. Thanks for the info! So where are the pages numbered on the first printing?
  10. Congrats! Could you post a scan so we know what to look for?

  12. Show is coming up in just over two months, I'll be setting up again and am looking forward to it! Air Capital Comic Guests
  13. I'm still missing 80% of both old and new orders that should be on there.
  14. I had seen a post somewhere that they’re experiencing a glitch that has affected the invoice tracking page. Since I shouldn’t be checking my order status every five minutes, I took this glitch as a huge time saving blessing. I’ve been spending more time savoring my morning coffee, experiencing nature, and reading all those books I’ve meant to pick up but never have.
  15. I've never seen/heard of any, and with the values of the Doomsday/Death/Funeral DCUs being as high as they are I am willing to guess that any that existed would have been shaken loose by now. The examples of the two packs towards the top of this page are pretty good evidence that normal later prints were inserted in these packs.
  16. Thanks. When I checked last I thought the listed TAT was 45 days, but I may have been mistaken. They’re collection books, so it takes as long as it takes.

  18. This was pretty much my story too. Found Mind Bomb in a dollar box and bought it because it was a Carnage book I’d never seen before (I was in grad school and away from collecting when it came out). I figured that a Carnage book that I remained this unaware of had to be worth buying for a buck, so I did.
