It’s strange I’m only seeing this opinion here on these boards. Everyone else I know outside these boards has more less taken a stance who gives a 💩 about Scarlet Johansson and this situation. When I came from work yesterday my wife said the local news anchors were talking about the story and basically crapping all over her. My wife has long disliked her and the Black Widow character in the MCU. Apparently the disdain with Johansson and her character in the MCU was even a topic of discussion at our wedding two months ago my wife’s one bridesmaid was just ewww yeah not a fan. My wife is an Administrative Law Judge and is often extremely interested in legal issues. She didn’t seem at all interested to know the specifics of this one. I’m more or less indifferent to her and it’s always been that way. It wouldn’t surprise me if the opposite occurs and she has cut off her nose to spite her face. Movie offers dwindle for her and other actors are only offered straight up lump sum payments with no performance bonuses from box office theater or streaming sales.

Now they can just keep the character dead going forward.

Or it’s just the video games selling for over 1 million and multiple stocks hitting all time highs daily premium. Aim high with your listings, the money is churning.

Didn’t really like him being wasted on the TVA . The TVA felt too claustrophobic and confined. Not really interested in seeing Loki in a cop show. The other variants of Loki were amusing but I’ve never been a fan of all the multiple timeline realities and time travel stuff which as soon as I saw the Avengers go back in time in WITHOUT having to use the Time Stone I thought “Oh 💩 here we go”. Exactly. What a misleading headline. CGC to Hire Top Video Game Experts...then the actual news release article is “Do you love video games? Do you sit around all day playing them? Then you must be a spooning expert! Why not turn your passion and expertise of playing video games into a career grading them!”

And a CGC slab with UV protection left in DIRECT sunlight would also no longer be a 9.8.

I find this a common probe with MCU films. They have a great pool of villains to pull from even with some of the rights issues with others studios over the years yet they seem to drop the ball too often with them.

My biggest problem going into it is how stupid Taskmaster looks and someone alluded to the fact Taskmaster could turn out to be a female...whatever. At first reveal the character looked like spoon. Taskmaster should look bad with the skull face instead they gave us a hybrid motorcycle helmet Stark armor garbage.

This is where Blackstone will come in and fix nonsense like this. They won’t like money being left on the table like this. CGC is already perfectly branded for this given they have been number one for grading (Marvel) comics since day one but hey they only grade TCG...and CSG only grades sports card. That spoon won’t fly when Blackstone grabs the reins.

As others have mentioned it most certainly ties into the Simonson story when Thor is turned into a Frog. Although rats were the main villain in the storyline Thor does have to avoid getting eaten by some NYC sewer alligators in the story...which in the end help defeat the rats with the aid of a Morlock who can control the gators by playing a flute.

Members can sell all their comics and buy tons of shares and become activist investors and insist upon their opinion on how CGC should be ran!

Say Hello to Lorreta SwiFt and JacYLn Smith...Blackstone can certainly push out more card grading product even if quality isn’t top notch because the number one competition in the space isn’t even all that reliable...

They can start with the card grading. That has been so poorly run you can just see the money that is being left on the table there. Lots of posts for the CGC card grading section. “Do you grade unopened Pokémon packs? I’d love to get them in a CGC case and not graded by another company.” Answer every time “Sorry we don’t grade those”. Meanwhile the competitor does. Same thing with “do you grade Star Wars or Marvel cards?”. Answer: “Sorry we don’t do that and CSG only grades sports cards”. All Blackstone has to do is have an intern scroll trough these boards and they can see where money is not being adequately captured. They also might even decide its not worth having CGC grade only TCG and CSG grade sports cards and stream line then into one. CGC a has a name recognition but what is the point of they only grade TCG Pokémon and Magic at this point and soon to be Yu-Gi-Oh. R&D may also be an area they target to roll out the ability to grade different cards. The number of posts about not being able to grade certain cards due to size (we aren’t talking crazy jumbo or super small cards) is ridiculous and it’s been seen for both CGC and CSG cards. Then of course computer system and data updates could be tackled as that’s really other alleged reason for not offering more TCG cards being available for grading. This could of course could lead to some not to knowledgeable experts. I know sometimes TATs in the CGC card section are blamed on needing to research the card. Here is where things could just get pushed out the door a little sloppily...HOWEVER, will collectors really care when you have cards graded by competitors like PSA sitting in cases with certified auto’s that are clearly forgeries because well...the person spelled their own name wrong? Not to mention all the proven trimmed cards sitting in PSA cases yet graded sports card mania marches on.
