  1. More diminishing returns. And once again that first sale by Probstein at over $355 is the exact same card (serial numbers match) that just sold for $56.77.
  2. Coincidentally I was looking at multiple PSA 10 92 MM cards and thought the corners all looked kind of rounded. 🤷‍♂️
  3. If you loved this card at $909 you’re going to love it at $56. This is the exact same card Probstein sold for $909 a few months ago as the serial numbers match.
  4. Given that multiple episodes ago it was pretty obvious who the Power Broker would be I held out hope this episode they would go for a completely unexpected character. A return of Red Skull to earth hiding out in Madripoor building up his war machine under the Power Broker alias would have been a nice swerve instead of the predictable.
  5. The Falcon/Karli/Carter scene near the end was nothing sort of cliche done over and over again in films. The whole thing was predictable garbage.
  6. I mean imagine getting FOMO and paying the higher tier to have PSA grade these and have something come back a 9 and not even cover the grading fee like that JIM 83 PSA $9 that finished at $23
  7. PUMP and DUMP baby. Some of the sales were completely fake. The Black Widow was the same exact seller and same exact card as the serial number on the PSA card was the same ALL 3 times.
  8. Now no one is even bitting at the $399 mark. This was a great “key” to speculate on.
  9. I mean it’s also got Storm Shadow on the cover with Snake Eyes so it’s a double whammy. How many covers were they actually on together even if this does feature their later looks.
  10. Not 80’s Marvel G.I. Joe art, but I had two paintings show up unannounced a few weeks ago. After taking out the first painting my fiancé was not too thrilled...thank god she loved the G.I. Joe painting when I unboxed it.
  11. What are you talking about? 👋💦
  12. The price boom in basically all collectibles has lead to me losing interest in collecting anything...except some OA. It’s at least one of a kind and as noted hasn’t been as stupid with price increases. Toward the end 2020 I was thinking of picking up some graded comics and cards in the future. Even if there is a roll back the dramatic run up in the past four months has greatly killed my interest as there are real life useable things I’d rather spend my money on. Bronty knows I was buying some graded MTG cards I’ve wanted for years and nothing to crazy to start. The last card I bought was one I had wanted for around 25 years. I finally bought one for $500 in early November. The last sale in the exact same grade was triple at $1,500. 😬 That’s great and all but I just don’t feel like adding the few others I wanted at this point. Cool but not cool enough for me to want to pay triple the price in just a few months. I had no intention of flipping these things but I had two cards that also ran up in price quite a bit that weren’t favorites so I sold them a month or so ago. The one went for about 4.5X what I had paid last summer and it was from The Dark which Bronty will tell you is the drizzling 💩. As noted comics are a runaway train. X-Men 1 and 4 have been on a crazy year compared to just 6 months ago. Baseball cards for guys like Mantle and Jeter rookies forget it. There have been other things like graded Marvel cards taking off...however there has been some clear manipulation there. Same seller and same exact serial number card all three times. Nothing fishy there especially with that first “sale”. There other examples of this same exact card same eBay seller (but different seller than the Black Widow card shown). Pump and Dump baby!
  13. He scripted most of the issues. Out of the first 25 issues I’ve read he scripted I believe all of them and only did layouts for issue 21.
  14. He would later become Paste Pot Pete. Also how can you not appreciate Sparling since he did some DC Grey Tone Bronze Horror.
  15. I know I posted at least some of these before, the Green Goblin was close to a decade ago when the thread launched.
  16. This was a problem we had right out of the gate with this show. The opening of episode 1, Falcon with his high tech suit doesn’t immediately over take a guy that is just wearing some aerodynamic suit with no power source. I get it was meant to be pop corn action but we just found it unbelievably distracting and a poor start to the show that others apparently seemed greatly entertained by. Also was it anyone else or were they just trying to fill out episode 5 air time by doing numerous and inexplicable slow motion shots in the episode? Disney apparently doesn’t know how to handle the use of slow motion. The last episode of The Mighty Ducks featured a challenge of fastest slap shot speed recorded on a radar gun...the deciding shot was shown in slow motion...WTF
  17. I actually read that issue this week (I’m reading the Marvel run in order) and yes that’s their very first appearance. They blow the Cobra Plane out of the sky at the funeral for General Flagg and then are introduced to the Joe team.
  18. The last time when Sam caught the outside of the shield with his hands my fiancé goes “Yeah his fingers would be gone.”
  19. Pretty much agree with everything you’ve said. At the start of the episode my fiancé goes “Thank God I only have to watch two more episodes of this”. Karli and her group are absolutely horrible boring “villains”. I wish John Walker had taken her out the last episode. Falcon and his Forest Gump shrimpin boat Capain storyline is
  20. These Black Widow “Sales” are all from the same seller and oh yeah all 3 “Sales” have the same serial number...someone isn’t paying for these...some kind of Shilly game with many of these...
