Since were sharing here’s an updated pic with precodes, I really want that rack with the “Buy approved comics bearing this seal” on the header, I would think it would be a great display.... -

Awesome pickup! I have 2 of those those similar racks. For the loose bars, I sanded the joints a bit and used jb weld. I have friends who weld but the jb worked just fine. -

Cry me a river.... Post your SuperHero crying panels
JoeRock replied to gadzukes's topic in Comics General
Not exactly super-hero, but good enough. I’m not gonna lie, and since I don’t know anyone here, no one will ever know haha. Lone Wolf and Cub, Lotus Throne. Itto and Daigoro have a moment, which made me have a moment, like when I was a kid watching Fox and the hound...... -
Can’t blame her wanting to hold di.....I mean Richard, he’s so dreamy hahaha

Looking good with some great books. You might not realize it yet, but your gonna start hunting eBay, random auction sites, Craigslist etc for another rack real soon....hahaha. I’m always “adjusting” the ones I have, my girl is always teasing me about what am I doing, my response, I’m looking for the perfect angle -

Nice pickup for an even nicer price. That rack has a lot of potential.... -
I sold most of my statues off awhile back, but there’s a few I don’t think I’ll part with. Prime1 Studios 1/3 DKR Bats, slip case in the background to show the size, love this one

Comic book spinner racks - who's got one?

Here’s a pic of mine. I’ve been on the hunt for one for awhile, ended up with 2. The other one needs a little fixing, eventually I’ll have one for hero books, the other for pre-code, it’s all about that squeak. -
I made a deal with them around January of this year. Ive been inquiring about this page for years, depending on which brother responded, the price would change. I’ll admit I was a bit aggravated years ago, as we agreed to a price, I sold some stuff and when the time came, price increase. I pretty much told myself F-them. But time passed on, and the page was still there, so I took a shot. Obviously the price increased, so I made an offer, art and trade. Part of the trade was 2 CGC books, which I literally had nothing invested in. To my surprise, he took the offer. He sold one book on eBay for much less than we valued it for, and the other he still hasn’t sold, but it’s 800 cheaper than what we valued it for. So a part of me giggled inside. In the end, I got the page I’ve wanted, sure it’s like dealing with a shady used car salesman, but I got something I’ve been wanting for a long time. What a crazy hobby this is

Art behind glass: Show off your framed art!
JoeRock replied to Stronguy's topic in Original Comic Art
Man that looks great, I have a pair of these posters, need to get on the ball with the frame work -
Very nice! Question, I was under the impression that CGC will not grade black & white fanzines due to the fact of counterfeits? I have a FE#5 I'd love to submit
