Someone thought so when they paid that for a copy in July. If you're convinced its going up, then the last sale price is pretty fair. Keep in mind though, that this is probably the single issue with the highest population of 9.4+ copies in the whole Strange Tales/Doctor Strange run. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more 9.8s than there are serious collectors of the series (there are 28 blue label 9.8s).

I'm a bit surprised to hear that. DS 169 is quite common in high grade. In the past I've seen many 9.4s and 9.6s, and at least one 9.8 up for sale. I don't know the recent trends on it, but its just one of those issues that, at least in the past, you could pick up a NM copy just about any time you wanted.

Issue 145: Look just below "Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD" The guy in the bubble vehicle just below it. Just above his head to the right there is actually a hole in the cover which is a fault in the cover itself. It looks like a little white spot in the image.
