I myself almost took Ducky's offer, solely because I just picked up a VF ASM 300 from Comical gems and I have two copies of 301 out with Joeypost right now. They would have completed the set nicely. The biggest reason I didn't take the offer is timing. I have been working long days and didn't have time to put an offer together until this coming weekend. I'll put a few together and have them on standby for going forward :thumbsup:

Nah, not dead. The guy with the cart hasn't been by yet either. I don't know how many people are watching this thread that are still even eligible considering how many have already grabbed something since last Friday. I am but there are very few new moderns I'm after so I'm more than willing to let someone else enjoy those books while I wait my turn.

Hey guys, during the normal scanning of Ebay I came across a few auctions that were IDW complete sketchbook HCs that looked awfully fishy. Some of you probably have already seen this and I doubt anyone here would fall for it but he claims they are signed editions. Now unless somebody figured out that flux capacitor thing I have a real problem with that statement. I believe the earliest of these books came out in 2011 and each of the ones I've seen him list has a sticker somewhere in the book with a very convincing Dave Stevens signature. In case anyone has forgotten Dave left us March 11, 2008. If someone finds them before I get home tonight post up a link or feel free to report him because it just isn't right.

Not sure if I believe the entire market does but I'm willing to put some belief in the CGC market probably does. If that's the case, once you guys have a copy of a book are you looking to sell off your undercopies? What if you have multiple 9.8s of the same book?

Proof positive Dave Stevens books have cooled off? I just picked up Airboy #5 CGC 9.8 for less than $50. Two years ago this was a $100 book and through a few additions to the registry and just all of us being pulled too many ways at once all of a sudden it has lost half it's value?

I'm guessing your avatar is your Campbell sketch? Very cool As for Choi, I have never met him. I have one of his chromium autographed books and that's it. Never even seen him make an appearance anywhere on my side of the country.

First prints are totally out of my price range when it comes to #1 and I haven't found a decent enough #2 so I'm sticking with a third print of #1 and a 2nd print of #2 with 1st prints of #3 and #4. I can't play in your sandbox but I can throw sand!

So who knows of second printings and third printings :shrug: of any of the original series? I know there is a second printing of #1 of the limited series, anything else?

Pretty much mirrored DoveCity187's Modern slow track - Received 3/31/14, shipped/safe 5/28 (turned to QC last night around 6 pm). However I have another received the same day that is a modern slow track that is still at graded.

What has the average been for moderns once they hit the graded tier? About two weeks or three?
