I love this thread. I used to see Dave every year at Dragon Con in Atlanta and the Betty Page look-a-like contests were awesome. I was still a teenager then and had no idea that people "sketched" or did commissions and I never really had a lot of money to spend back then but he was always an awesome individual to see. I got several items signed, at least one or two books every year and have one sketchbook of his from those days as well. I really do miss him. I know there was a lot of talk at the beginning of this thread about missing out on Dave Stevens SS books, does anyone know if ANYONE ever actually got one? I've been curious about this for a long time....

Do any of you guys plan on getting together for Heroes and doing any trading there next summer? I think it would be fun to bring a few SS or other CGC books and sit around the Westin and talk things up. If so I better start submitting a few books, right now I only have one I would trade!

I'm just getting started in all of these CGC SS books and if any of you have a Turner that you are looking to sell I don't care what book it is or the grade so much as the signature. Turner was an awesome illustrator that I never had a chance to meet and I would love to have one. Shoot me a PM with what it is and a price and hopefully that will be one more slot filled in my collection. Curiosity question: Anyone ever seen a Dave Stevens CGC SS?
