  1. Here's a question my friend pointed out to me after seeing the movie. How could Zola, have worked on Bucky after he was found by the Russians, when he was captured by Cap etc on the train Bucky fell off of? They clearly show him talking to Bucky, when he is having flash backs to first being given his arm etc. There is no way the USA would have let Zola leave their custody, this would seem to be a pretty major flaw in the movie to me and more so my friend, who is a huge cap fan.
  2. , seriously man. I saw him and just go wtf is he doing in this movie?
  3. Would you disagree with that statement? You have never seen people act in such a manner on the boards before? Regardless, I hope you enjoy the movie. It is an entertaining movie for sure, and as I read here or on the web somewhere, it doesn't drag. Then again at like 2:15 it is shorter than some of the other movies too. Enjoy the trailers, maleficent, has always been my favorite Disney villain, and with Angelina playing her! My god, that's like hitting the daily double. Still trying to figure out, why Kelsey Grammar is in expandables 3?
  4. So you couldn't possibly be an unabashed, DC fanboy. Many on the boards hold this view (it's been posted ad nauseum): DK1 and DK2 are good flicks that have their own respective issues, while DK3 is truly up there as one of the all-time best comic book films. I think many here would concur that CAWS was on a DK3 (and IM1 and Avengers) level. In my opinion for live action comic book movies, iron man 1 and the dark knight rises, are the 2 best films made to date. I do prefer DC for comic books, but I like alot of the stuff marvel does. Obviously, if you take out the Nolan films, and the first Keaton batman, there has been lots of bad for sure. The Batman trilogy, will be regarded as one the greatest trilogy's in cinema history. That has been stated by people who work in the industry, not comic book marks like me and you guys. Can anyone name another completed trilogy from the comic book world, that you can honestly say stands toe to toe with the Batman trilogy? Iron Man? I loved the first one, enjoyed the second, and the third......well can't hit a home run every time. The first spider-man trilogy? Please, #3 is the only reason you should have to state. Bottom line is this, it's an opinion, what movie you do and don't like. Last time I checked, we all have a right to that opinion, unless someone comes to the cgc boards, then it's " your opinion isn't like mine, you don't know anything".
  5. Saw it today, I think it was better than the first one also. To anyone who says this is on par with any part of the batman trilogy, you are just an unabashed, marvel fanboy. It was a good, entertaining movie, my kids left the theater happy, and I didn't feel like I got screwed out of my money. I will certainly buy it, when it comes out on blu-ray, because it is a fun, entertaining movie. I don't consider it a very deep, or thought provoking movie. If you think my opinion is bad, I read a review the other day, that completely torches this movie.
  6. I bought a batman 29 eccc from toast, book arrived fast and very well packaged. Looks great and even got a surprise in the package. Thanks again!
  7. I'm in. Apparently there are 2 asm14 threads. They should be combined if that's possible.
  8. There has been a Han in carbonite before, also life size. The first time I saw it, I thanked god I left my debit and credit cards at home. I was on vacation in Vegas, and only brought cash.
  9. Disposable... I'm going to lose my house if I keep up coming back here and drooling over everyone's statues! I've lost everything once, it's gotta be easier the second time......right?
  10. I need to stop coming in here, this thread is going to cost me all disposable income.
  11. My friend is a big spider-woman fan, I picked it up for him. He was on cloud 9 too .
  12. I picked this one up today, ultimately it wont be mine, but it's cool and big!
  13. There have been threads done on this before, any DC animated movie is great, Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, justice league, justice league unlimited. DC does animation right! The marvel stuff is hit or miss.
  14. You are right, I forgot about the mobster's daughter... She looks a little like the female Robin who was in one of the modern Batman stories, but I don't remember the name. I thought they decided not to use Laurel for Black Canary.? that's why they hired the actress to play her sister? Yeah I can see the female robin there. I haven't read anything behind the scenes so, I have no clue what the people in charge want to do. Unlike most people on here apparently, I like Laurel . After seeing her throw down in that episode last season, I was sure she would be black canary,so for me it's just hope.
  15. Huntress was introduced in the first season already. Laurels middle name is Dinah, I believe she will become black canary, even to know they had her sister in that part. I loved this weeks episode, the flash origin was awesome. I was pissed after his intro, because I wanted to see him run, I didn't realize he was pre-powers .
  16. Two 8.5's sold in the past 6 hours or so. One went for 153.50, the other was 203.50 http://www.ebay.com/itm/111219100620?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/141119074530?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 This book is just awesome to watch explode.
  17. I saw that one, I'm curious to see whether it gets re-posted. The last few bidders including the winner, had high activity with this seller, one of them had 5 bid retractions in 6 months. Could be the shill game going on. I hope it's legit though.
  18. Here is my very modest ticket,to this most awesome of clubs.
  19. I figured this should come here first. I have waited over a year to see this book again. Thanks to GAcollectibles, for trying to get Murphy Anderson on this book after Carmine signed it last March.
  20. Yeah I love both books. I happened to find the second copy of mad love and BA 12 last weekend at Larry's wonderful world of comics, during a 50% off sale. I also found a birds of prey 8 with them!
  21. Yes that was me at the counter with Larry. Don't think twice about being in a hurry, I would have been too,if I had a lady friend that attractive waiting for me. (thumbs u
