My second golden age Batman book.

Cobra83 you have a store that sells graded toys in your area?Where in NH are you?That destro is pretty bad azz.

I have a question for you all.My friend has an avengers #1 graded 3.5sa, the restoration was done by him,when he bought the book it was missing the upper left corner where the 4 heroes are located.He then bought a second beater copy that still had that piece and removed it and taped it into his other copy. If he removed the restoration.what grade would it be? Would it become a qualified book? He bought both copies 3 or so years ago for short money,and has no intention of selling it, he was just curious how much the grade would be affected.

I check the prices often as well, at this point I am happy to have the FCBD signed by Eastman. I would love to get a first print, but it's out of my price range.

Ok let's try this again. I should have worded it differently for sure looking back at it. I thought it was an interesting story I had been told, and being that this is the thread for all things TMNT #1 related, I wanted to share it. I personally have no reason not to believe what I was told, but neither I or anyone else will probably able to prove whether this is fact or fiction. While searching for the DOTF books out this week, I found avenging spider man 15.1 , 2 copies of the new Star Wars book,also found a daredevil 21 but it was beat up.Last week I found 15 copies of daredevil 21 at B&N, I only bought 3 copies though.I love the hunt!

Thank you! I can't afford high grade key books, so I go with these types. This allows me to get books I want, but at prices I can more easily afford. I like the lower grade silver age books, they don't look beat up too me, they look well loved.

My first GA book. I know it's low grade,but I just love Batman so much I don't care about the grade as long as I can afford it.
