    My guess is there were maybe 1 or 2 Superman books that recently also made 9.8 grade ... Very upsetting perhaps when you were single highest graded owner.

    From even before the auction started a friend of mine told me he'd win the book ... and he did. You will see the book registered in his ASM set soon enough.

    +1 the "wow" and "must have" factor diminishes with each additional copy graded at 9.6

    It was listed on the Exchange for a while, prior to going to auction, and iirc it had received a high bid of 70K or thereabouts.
