Heritage produced same recent type results. That's why the 90K result gave me a good chuckle.

So too was his Detective #27-#200 set among several others. There's a problem with that however, as many of his books will likely be registered by the new owners. A book, as you know, cannot be registered to 2 parties simultaneously

I agree that registry points should not be determined solely by the price of a book, BUT price and registry points may be driven by many of the same factors, including demand and scarcity. In the end, both price and points are trying to measure the "worth" of a book, so while registry scores should not equate to market dollars, they are probably highly correlated to market dollars. Completely agree.

"dealer" to me is the guy that sets up at shows, has a store, buys collections large and small, holds inventory... etc. everyone else I consider flippers or "wannabee dealers", they adopt the title but that's all they have and are.

Charlie Shieh aka comicmylars, notoriously overprices his books ( most are flips from past purchases ) He doesn't need money nor is he in a rush to sell anything, that's why some of his inventory sits on ebay for years. He also often shows a dipsh1t attitude towards potential buyers, as was the case with the OP yet again. Either pay his (often ridiculous) price or better yet search for another copy somewhere else...

Yes, absolutely. AF15 is so rare, that you will never have more than 30-40 different copies to choose from at any given time.

@Dark Knightone last curiosity about the Tec 33... it sold for $27,805 in 2019 as a 3.0, it sold for $27,250 again in 2019 (EoY) this time as a 3.5 -> both times ComicLink it then sold on ComicConnect in 2020 (EoY) for $27,000 So you are correct, 3 times in last 2-3 years.
