  1. I'm not even going to bother commenting on any of this garbage. The next several pages would be evidence to the contrary but let's keep this thread restricted to AF15 talk. I'll leave your statement with just a video. Show me how well Frank could play the guitar and/or piano. Neither. The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don't know anything about.
  2. Don't agree with this. Sure, it may be applicable to a 2-3K book but someone that can spend close to 70K on a comic book is indifferent to buying it in March, August or December.
  3. Besides the handful of AF15s, Heritage has a ton of great books at auction. Wow.
  4. Never. Ever. Elvis will fade when our Sun does.
  5. Send it over non-believer Recent notable sales on HGC: Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 5.0 VG/F $55,000 SOLD
  6. Board member. Wow, he must have been bidding from the floor last night. Book in hand already.
  7. Wow. Do you think this is why the Tec 27 hasn't sold or is it just priced to aggressively ? (I was thinking the latter) He is asking almost double what it went for at auction on Comiclink a couple years ago (jacked up the price twice). Nothing abnormal there as we are dealing with Tec 27 but his rep doesn't help him at all I would think.
  8. Pretty sure it is and if it is, nothing changed on it ( grade, PQ )
  9. BB28 has had quite a few mid grade copies surface as of late. Sales prices is the higher grades have done just fine.
  10. Couldn't agree more. Not on a book like AF15. Most of all the rest in SA, sure.
  11. This ^ Yup. They appear to become less available in the higher grades.
  12. what was the PQ on those record setting, headline grabbing copies ? Let me answer that for you. The 57K 5.0 copy has C/OW pages.
  13. what was the PQ on those record setting, headline grabbing copies ?
  14. I think maybe higher. 7.0 is spiderturtle's sweet spot. Speaking of which, @Spiderturtle sorry your book didn't perform as well as you'd hoped.
  15. Even at 67k it is still a huge increase in value compared to say even 2 years ago. Indeed. 10K/point is nothing to cough at.
  16. Didn't hurt this: http://comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch.asp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3DAmazing%2Bfantasy%2B15%26GO2%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB&id=1210851 I actually like the 6.5 over this 7.0
  17. Again, because spiderturtle wasn't part of the bidding process. His 6.5 is certainly nicer than many, many other 6.5s out there. And as to PQ on an AF15, paging Jaydog ...
  18. A bit off topic but still cool to know. The light bulb on the cover of Tec 59 is signed JR (Jerry Robinson) https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/detective-comics-59-dc-1942-cgc-vf-nm-90-off-white-to-white-pages/a/7017-91136.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515
