  1. Quite harsh solution if youll pardon my french ... i know resto is frowned upon. But tearing off the cover ...? A shot at some humor. Failed miserably ...
  2. AF15 is the most important work ever published second only to the Bible. It's value is priceless. Also, its champion will be along shortly to corroborate ...
  3. The Bats1 2.0 Q went for a sweet price, no ? http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=722359
  4. Didn't sell cheap, lots of love for that copy. Seeing as how their last copy, a 7.5 EP went for close to 40K, I actually think it did. http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=695249
  5. *sigh* GAtor is humble enough to be the first person to tell you that the comic world does not start and end with him. He will also tell you that he is NOT the see-all and know-all of all things in the hobby.
  6. So what !? The same could be said for your relentless humping of the book too. A boardie mentioned today's census population and his thoughts about it and received some insight of what has been posted that he may not be aware of.
  7. Gator has already said the market can absorb them and he was talking about 10 000 not 500 or 5000. This discussion comes up every once and a while people forget the answers that where given then it starts all back over then Gator comes in and says the market will absorb them then people stop talking about till they again forget what was said. Seeing as how you refer to GAtor's input, go back and read the part where Gator addresses the sustainability of pricing. Yes the books may be absorbed but will they be absorbed at these astronomical prices ... likely no.
  8. Wait until the raw copies in private collections start to get graded over the years to come. 500 will quickly become 5000.
  9. Not all 0.5s are created equal. That 0.5 blew the Tec out of the water.
  10. Any bets it would have gone higher if they had been using CC's 3-minute extended bidding format instead? Probably, but it likely would have capped at 15.
  11. Went from 8.6 to 10.x to 11.y to final price in the last minute.
  12. 40K So, are you really saying that the IGB 9.8 graded copy is going to sell for more than this CGC 3.5 graded copy? Depends on how much more it will be shilled.
  13. 35-40K Less nicer looking 3.0 that sold end 2016 http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=685988
  14. If you have evidence to back your claim, PM Gemma and the census will be updated.
