Man, this was one of the first books I remember buying when I was 13. Sold mine 3 years ago I think. The 9.0 is probably a let-down for you, but it still has nostalgia value for many! Yeah it was a bit of a let down, but, it's all in the learning process. The bigger let down is that they couldn't tell the difference between Gambit and Magneto in the hologram.

Just got these in today. Sorry for the pics, my scanner doesn't fit the whole slab and the scans come out kind of crappy. Dark Reign: The List (Villain Variant) Ultimate Spider-man #1 - thought this was a 9.6 when I sent it in Batman The Killing Joke 1st print Muppet Show #4 - C2E2 Wrigley Field Convention Edition X-Men v2 #25 - thought it was a 9.2-9.4 CGC messed the description up. Should be the variant cover with Magneto Hologram, they have it listed as the regular edition with Gambit hologram

Nice. It took me about five 9.6's before I got a 9.8 copy of the regular USM #1. Got very lucky on the blue target, though. It was a raw ebay purchase, and the one and only I bought. Mine were both raw E-Bay books. I thought the DR might have a shot at 9.9 as it looked pretty much flawless. Guess they saw something I missed. The USM I thought would have been a 9.6 at most. Guess I saw something they missed (or my imagination was running rampant). Happy either way with the books. Still looking for that Blue Doc Ock USM 1, at a good price. You may have beaten me on the bid for that one. I have just about all of the USM run, except for a couple of the variants. like the Doc Ock cover and the DF #1, White #1 and a couple others. My books got marked as shipped yesterday, so should have them in a few days.

I am waiting for almost the same exact books, except mine is the regular USM #1. Both are 9.8 also.

Just completed my first transactions via the board. Tiger was fantastic to trade with. He got the Submariner books he was looking for and I got a very generous (in my opinion) return..Hope every transaction is as smooth and easy.

I have no real info on the Space Beaver, but, I have Book 1 of it. All I know is it was published in 1986/1987 and the artist/writer was Darick Robertson.
