Modern 3/11/13 submission went from Graded to Grading/Quality control today.

My 3/11/13 modern submission just went to graded today. Doesn't show the grades yet, but, looks like times are getting better.

Modern submission, received on 3/11/13, went to "Scheduled for grading" today.

My current submission took almost 7 weeks to go from received to verified.

I guess they'll show as verified in a few more days Will I receive them faster going backwards? Verified and received are usually pretty quick. My 3/11/13 modern submission is still sitting at received. Not very quick.

1st thru 7th print are $3.50 Cover Price 8th and 9th print are $3.95 cover price 10th thru 12th print are $4.95 cover price 14th print is $5.99 cover price and has the newer style DC Logo. 13th and 14th prints also have a green tie, where as the other prints have a white or gray tie. I'm just stunned that he convinced a female to have sex with him. He could have bribed her with one of his high grade unrestored books.

I am beginning to think he will have died of old age before he actually gets to court.

Picked up a #2, 5, 7, and 7 Ghost today for cover (except the Ghost @ $10). All I need is a # 3 to have 4 sets of first prints.

What happened on this one? Near as I can figure, it suffered damage somewhere along the way. There are some corner dings that I know were not there when I sent the books off to be graded. I went over these books multiple times. They are very visible on the back cover and I know I would not have missed them. I was accurate on every other book that I sent in, so, I am thinking that it happened in shipping (which I doubt since I packed really well and no other book had any damage) or it happened at their facility. I'll never know for certain, so, I guess I'll have to chalk it up.

Got this in yesterday. My phone takes crappy pictures. Got the books from the P.O. Now I see why one book, that I thought was 9.8, got a 9.0. There are some back cover corner dings that I am certain were not the when I sent them in. Every other book i sent in was dead on my prediction except that one. Not sure if it happened during shipping there or while at the facility. I don't think it happened during shipping, as the books were secured well and it was in the middle of the stack. Hard to say when it happened or if I possibly missed it. Oh well, time to look for another copy.

My 8/23 submission showed up at the Post Office yesterday. Postman was too lazy to knock on my door. Going to pick it up now.

Regarding the 9.0, look for staple issues, either cover or centerfold. These are so easy to miss. No staples, it was The Killing Joke (7th Print). I did not see anything wrong with it when I looked it over before submitting. I thought it was one of the better books I sent in. It will be interesting to see what was missed or maybe it was damaged in transit or at the facility.

Finally, my submission went to shipped/safe. Pretty happy with the grades overall. One has me puzzled. Thought it was a 9.8 and came back a 9.0. Can't wait to see what I missed, because apparently I missed something there. I was pretty spot on for the rest of the books, except that one. Ended up with 4 9.8 and 2 9.6 and the 1 9.0.

update... so the 9-19 invoice just went straight from "verified" to "graded" today. Anyone else had this happen? 9-19 invoice shipped today. So, you get your 9/19 submission shipped, while mine from 8/23 still sits in limbo. This is starting to get ridiculous.

My 8/23 submission is still listed as "graded". This is getting to be wildly_fanciful_statement. How are submissions, sent in after my submission, getting graded and sent back already? What happened to them processing them in order of arrival? They really need someone to kick them in the or help pulling their heads out of their asses. It does not appear they have any idea of what is going on inside their building.

Moderns arrived today The Hulk 271 came back as 9.8 Apparently CGC is not going in order of when books were submitted. My modern books were submitted a week before yours (8/23) and you already have yours back already. While mine still sit somewhere between graded and encapsulated. I think they have more problems with their overall process than we realize.

My 8/23 submission went to "Scheduled for grading" on 12/10/12 and just went to being "Graded" today. Hope that gives you some insight. Your mileage may vary.
