Great books everybody. I know I'm going to catch hell maybe from you guys , but as a fan also of Lou Fine ,I just don't see his art on the cover of Science # 3. Great cover none the less. I also am not sure that his art graced the cover of Fantastic Comics # 5,? maybe the inks??. Science # 1 & maybe # 2 is Lou Fine , but IMO not # 3. Remember for years people thought Weird #1 was Lou , turned out to be George Tuska . Awesome cover also. What do you guys think?? BTW Jon, Science # 4, Joe Simon & what a killer Sci - Fi cover & your copy

BZ, Thank you for sharing those incredible books!! Love the story behind this collection also. I don;t blame you for not wanting to sell such beautifil comics . I 'm not sure I would also , Well not yet anyway. Only when I felt that I was ready to & gave it alot of thought. What a Treasure to own . This is the dream of a collector to come across such a collection as this . Post more Centaurs , Please . Oh! and don't forget those Fox books also . Do you by any chance have a Fantastic Comics #3 ?? My favorite cover of the Golden Age of comics.

BH, not being a comic book dealer and relying on my experience only, I'd say AM22 is scarce. I suspect it's one of those books (like Fantastic 3) that is hoarded and just doesn't appear on the marketplace all that often. I used to own a VG+ and a buddy of mine has a Good (that he got from Metro). Other than Berk and CentaurMan, I don't know of any other collectors who have one (but I'm sure they're out there, come out come out wherever you are!). STEVE Hi ,Steve, I own a Amazing Man # 22 that I bought off of Harley some years ago , got lucky . he said it was scarce also . I also have a AMF Vol. 2 # 5 that I bought off of Ted van Liew . Great , Great books!! So I'm one of those collectors other then you guys that came out, wherever I am.

Great, Great stuff!! I love the Lone Ranger, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, etc. esp. there films . When I hear the William Tell oveture of the Lone Ranger it still gives me a nostalgic rush.

Jon, what a great story . Thanks for sharing. This is the kind'a of stuff I love to read on these boards. Centaur, what a great Publisher to collect. I have around 30 issues , I see,I have many more to collect . Great art & stories & scarce as hell as you & Win say. Finding them & collecting them is like finding Beautiful gems . & don't get me started on Fox comics.

Just cracked these out of the slabs over the holidays.

That National is real nice. Quality comics put out some great books . Just recieved these 2 books over the Holidays . Cracked these slabs open. My Wife bought these for me. Great art inside esp. & out.

Amen to that, brother. KDF 2/7 is a very scarce book, and truly undervalued IMHO. This is the New Hampshire copy - very slight resto (c/t to bottom corner nicks) but blazing colors and pure white pages. A great book, Centaur or otherwise... STEVE Steve , great book as always . I agree , undervalued . Now let's hope the prices don't go up till I get a copy!!

Jack, it's time for you to pick up a remaindered copy of Trina Robbins' The Great Women Cartoonists book. It's a great read for cheap. Here's the included pic of Tarpe Mills herein - Tarpe 's a Cutie!!! Makes us even love her more , her Art that is.

Pedigrees, are Freaks of nature. Comics are meant to be read & abused. They weren't meant to be in excellent condition.. That's why these books are so Awesome !!!!! Nuff said!! That's why we love 'em!!

That's a great looking copy, like you say; for the grade. & Scarce to Boot.
