  3. Cool book..& scarce I used to own a copy of this book in about fine /fine +, I traded and cash, years back though, for a Cooksville copy of Fantastic Comics # 5 and Mystery Men # 10
  4. Jon , count me in as one of those enthusiasts that gets excited !!! After collecting since 1965 /66 , and having a near complete Silver Age run of Marvels & assorted DC's, I got into collecting golden age in the early 90'.s I love Timelys , have a few , but expensive . I then discovered Centaurs, luv'em "pre Timelys to me" Love Fox comics also , Quality , Nedors and getting into slowly, early MLJ. I love the history and early art of this stuff, and the fact that these Men and Women were in the trenches of this early art form.It was a job to most of them during the Great Depression. And my hope is that the Newer Generations discover and appreciate these people that started it all way back when... BTW God Bless Marty Filchock, he's still got it.. (thumbs u
  5. Brian , those Funny Pages float my boat. Early Golden Age. and Jon , awesome recreation by Filchock , what a wonderful piece of art to own. :applause:
  6. Cool book!! :applause:Has Mac Raboy ever done a bad cover or art inside? I don't think so... What a golden age great he was. I read he was very slow drawing , but what a outstanding artist . CC Beck , I think, once said he was more a illustrator then a comic book artist. But that was his opinion,

Love the Outer limits , my all time fave TV show . Scared the #%$@ out of me back in 1963 , when it premiered . There was nothing like it on TV back then , unless you count The Twilight Zone. But they were different in alot of respects.
