I'm fortunate to have access to early raw issues of books (Crack, Feature, Hit, National, Police, Smash, etc.) and have been enjoying them a lot.
Quick question for you Quality aficionados, what is your single favorite title for this publisher (and why)?
I like the Hit Comics myself. Early classic covers by Lou fine! plus Reed Crandell art . I own a Hit # 5 , Moderate resto but it's a beauty!!! # 7 # 11 # 17 you get the picture. I have to get my scanner back on sometime one of these days.

It's a shame . The lone Ranger was my 1st hero growing up. Had a holster and guns and silver bullets , cowboy boots growing up in the early sixties.

I think that was the same one. Either way , you have a copy . Again congrats on your purchase.

Was that the File copy one? It came with a envelope from Fox?

You got that right. Maybe 10 million or more .

There has never been a publicly recorded sale of a certified 4.
They are all tough after 1. Just splitting hairs. Finding all 5, now that's an accomplishment!
Congrats Rick.BTW is issue #5 commanding crazy money nowadays? Bruce Wayne prototype. I saw one I think it was ComicLink sometime back. The owner wanted some crazy price for his copy. I don't know if it ever sold though.

What a great thread. Matt Baker was one of the best. I have to pick up The Art of Glamour. Going to order this week at the LCS.

Great Lou Fine cover. When I was putting my run of Wonderworld #3 to # 11 together, # 9 seemed the hardest for me to track down. They are all scarce books Wonderworlds, but #9 was a bear for me . It was either I had trouble finding one or not in great shape. I finally found and bought a decent shape one off of Dave Reynolds, great guy to deal with.

Great book! I remember getting this comic back in the1960's , my friend and I would always trade it back and forth.Still have it , beat but complete. I did upgrade though many years later.
