  1. I love this crossover with the Flash, it's nice to see that they're not ignoring the CW like the movie universe does. I'd still like to see Tom Welling on the silver screen as Superman. I heard that they're casting someone else as the Flash in the Justice League - WTF DC!
  2. Best idea for charity ever. I donated to get a chance to blow mess up with Arnold last year.
  3. The LEGO Batman movie (Superheroes United?) from a few years ago was awesome too. I honestly look forward to this LEGO Batman movie more than Batman/Superman:DoJ. Oops, I think I just crossed the streams again...
  4. Didn't the Internet RAGE EXPLODE over the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman? I wonder if some of those same people are now supporting the movie against the critics?
  5. There was also really bad CGI in GL, it was blurry and weird. That massive poop-monster at the end was even more confusing. They should have saved him for the Justice League; he works best using his ring for deus ex machina saves complimented with a catchy and hilarious comment - or jab at the Flash
  6. There were a couple of interesting scenes. But that was definitely up there as a high point. That, and the plane save, are some of the better parts of Superman Returns. That plane save was also awesome. It was the sort of thing that would happen in the Golden Age. Spacey as Luthor was memorable and so was the model trainset in the basement...
  7. Snyder knows what he's doing, Watchmen is a cinematic masterpiece. Move over, Citizen Kane!
  8. To be fair, both Superman III and Man of Steel had the lead actor from the very cool The Man From UNCLE, yet Superman III had Richard Pryor. WIN! Pryor was hilarious in that! Plus it has the fight between good Superman and Bad Superman, no robo-suit needed here...just a garbage compactor.
  9. yeah but what's going to matter is the audience over the critics. I have never based the decision to watch a movie based on critics. Critics LOVED Snowpiercer - but that movie made my eyes shoot blood out of my ears. Really? For Snowpiercer? Really?!?
  10. ...but neither is the guy who wrote the FF screenplay and directed it IMHO
  11. I may be dating myself here, but I like Superman III more than Man of Steel. I hope Superman IV gets testicular cancer. That bullet to the eye scene in Superman Returns? Epic.
  12. I'd like to see a director's cut of FF. There's no way the same guy behind Kick- and Kingsmen would make a castle like FF. Mark Millar? I thought Matthew Vaughn was the first director to take a stab at it. He is listed as the producer, so I could be wrong. Didn't they just throw a studio director at it due to a falling out? A Mark Millar -script would have been way better though. Millar's correct. It's fairly common knowledge that the -script for the latest FF film was based on Ultimate FF, which was written/created by Mark Millar (as was Kick-, Kingsmen, Wanted, Civil War, and Old Man Logan). He also wrote The Ultimates, thus giving us a black / Samuel L. Jackson Nick Fury. Fairly remarkable that Mark Millar has now managed to have more major comic book film adaptations that Frank Miller or Neil Gaiman. Good point, I think Millar deserves mad credit for his contributions. I have much higher expectations for Civil War because of his involvement in it.
  13. I wonder if all this fury over the movie will push more interest into GOOD Superman vs Batman battles? Like the one from the Hush storyline. I wish if they were going to "tribute" Miller, they would have taken more than just Batman's robocop suit.

  15. My theater info shows that its running time is 151 min, not 180 mins that some of the reviewers are talking about? 30 mins of footage is a huge difference.
  16. I liked the Spirit. This score is more deserving of Shaquille O'Neal playing Batman, Nick Cage as Superman and Jesse Eisenberg playing Lex Luthor. Oh wait, Jesse is playing Lex....

  18. From the link, the skull concept didn't come until after Spielberg was on board for creating another Indiana Jones movie. Did you perhaps mean "... budging off of the alien concept."? I've never heard which part of it they didn't like--the crystal skull, the 50s sci-fi elements, or the alien concept--they just didn't like it. I didn't like all 3 elements. It didn't 'feel' like an Indy movie, much like the Star Wars Eps1-3 didn't for me. If Disney does to the Indy franchise what they did with Star Wars, I'm excited.
