  1. Wolverines mini hasn't moved much in years. I can set my watch to what these go for. Punisher mini on the other hand, I used to see issues 2-5 go for $50-70, I think those days are gone... I probably see them for sale at a ratio of 1:10 compared to Wolverine's mini $50-70 an issue? probably not per issue Sorry meant CGC 9.8 $50-70/ea. #2 punisher mini is usually in the $100s. #1 can be in the $250-300s. 3-5 do better than $50-$70 generally, but yes, are not triple digits yet usually. Wolvie mini 9.8s are generally $150-$200 each. So, interestingly, the Punisher 1 sells for more than WOlvie 1, but not the other issues. So I'm guessing the Punisher mini was less anticipated than the Wolvie mini? I know we all bought 2 or 3 copies of the Wolvie mini in my little group of dorks. Yeah or maybe the Wolvie run is more coveted? IMHO I'd rather have the punisher run on my wall, but I wouldn't consider either an investment at this point. /StuporMan looks up census to see if there are any Punisher mini in 9.9 ...
  2. The Weird Horrors is in my top three. In love with that cover. I haven't even SEEN that cover before - amazing!!
  3. Well said He'll be banned within the day! All the people that normally would are hate-watching BvS right now...
  4. Everybody's gotta start somewhere. Just yesterday sold a BA Tec to a 0-fb buyer who just registered yesterday. I'm guessing that's why eBay did it. Maybe their policy could be smarter and differentiate between 0 fb 0 transactions and 0 fb 1 or more transactions. That would allow newbs to buy.
  5. Remember that Cat has seen Supergirl and Kara together when Kara had Jonn imitate herself. That said, I think Cat knows Kara is Supergirl but supports her. Cat should have her ex-husband make a cameo on the show and it be Harrison Ford.
  6. Yeah hard to say if they'll stay there or not...1:100 will prob keep them scarce as I'm not sure how many stores will order that many. Now if Alex would just do a local show... Yasss

  9. I think the translation was ... great deal and great find! - translation: right-on brotha!
  10. Frank Robbins art. I don't think you actually want to read that story It has a very Scooby-Doo-ish feel to it...
  11. It's really low grade but I like it. Kids hanging a "Jap" (pardon the expression). You just don't see that on a cover very often.
  12. Verra nice Ticks are tricky, hope it works out My 9.8 looks almost like this with a ding in the bottom left corner. I have a stack of Ticks that I want to press for my collection, but haven't gotten to them yet...
  13. Wolverines mini hasn't moved much in years. I can set my watch to what these go for. Punisher mini on the other hand, I used to see issues 2-5 go for $50-70, I think those days are gone... I probably see them for sale at a ratio of 1:10 compared to Wolverine's mini A lot of the Wolverine mini were printed. Hot hot artist, hot character. I was out of comics just before the Punisher mini came out. Was this being done as a result of popularity of his recent guest appearances at that point or was marvel just taking a stab to see what kind of reception he would get? I always like Punisher since reading his first ASM appearances in the 70s, I just don't know if the rest of the world was so crazy about him. Heck, Marvel gave comic series to trucker detective agents and lord knows who else before giving a series to either the Punisher or Wolverine, so who knows what their thought process was. I remember in the late 80s early 90s Punisher was on fire. I went after the Punisher mini just because I liked the covers better. Frankly I thought (and still do) that the Frank Miller covers on the mini were phoned in. The story is awesome though! I was looking back at the Jim Lee and Portacio covers from Punisher and Punisher:WJ and they're fantastic! I always end up bidding on other things though because I think these Punishers will always be around...that has bitten me in the SPOON many times
  14. You and your misleading comic book listings for comic books! No excuse for the buyer as they should read the description of what they are paying for. This is what they thought they were getting though. Dark Knight Mezco Figure This was the Dimaond version and seems to be trading at anywhere between $85 to $110 including shipping. $67 + shipping was not far off from the low end. Also I found a mix of comics and toys when I did a simple search for Dark Knight Figure One because this was the first figure in the series. However, with that said, there is no excuse for the buyer not to read the description of what they are buying on eBay. That is on the buyer. Has anyone fought this with eBay and it decided in the seller's favor? I am really asking, I've had this happen to me a few times and I just refund/return since I assume eBay will take the buyer's side.
  15. I've been trying to get my hands on that Daredevil for a long time, congrats!
  16. The price difference reflects the expectation of a lower grade for a resubbed book from CBCS to CGC I have yet to confirm this myself - just repeating sentiment from other boardies. This seems to be true. I would add though I bought a cbcs 6.0 x-men 4 that I think is every bit as nice as any cgc 6.0 I have purchased. So they can competently grade and I personally do have some confidence in their primary grader. Still it does seem CGC has been grading tighter than them as of late. I think it's a win for the collector/ investor/ flipper. CGC having some legit competition forces them to make sure their product is the best on the market while the other company presents an opportunity to attain books at better prices. The flip game is a tricky one here as these companies grade a little differently. I am looking for opportunities but also exercising patience. Flipping is all about how much you paid for it. ...oh and supply/demand
  17. Buy comics on Amazon? Isn't that mentioned in a "why I hate eBay today" thread somewhere?
