  1. I think Suicide Squad will blow away Superman/Batman at the BO
  2. I'm psyched for this. I loved the first Kingsman - especially the ending (no pun intended)
  3. Sad Affleck applauds you for that. Maybe there should be a sad Jesse thread...
  4. Yeah never see any Wizards in my LCSs anymore (or any other magazines for that matter). I guess the eBay hunt is on!
  5. What is Kara saying at 1:33??? I was wondering what she was looking at right then...
  6. Love these covers! Underrated IMHO, especially 200+. Also great tribute covers in there too, loooong before it was overused in today's variant market. My sole contribution:
  7. You mean, back to the days when half of the critics hated his movies... instead of two-thirds? Not much glory in those glory days. His movies are disappointments. Just goes to show when you stick to the source material you get a much better result.
  8. It'd be kind of cool to be part of one connective universe like Marvel, but its not all done by one studio the way marvel does it, meaning there's different bosses. And they'd constantly be compared to marvel in terms of MCU, and they probably are afraid they can't do it as well, which is probably true. Additionally, you lock yourself into and out of specific storylines when its all one big universe, ESPECIALLY when you have (at least) 5 ongoing episodic 22 episodes per season stories going on at once. Keeping continuity with movies would be a nightmare. Marvel has 1.5 network tv shows (both on ABC which is a sister company), and Agent Carter takes place in a fairly distant past, with the Netflix shows being shorter and more tightly controlled and limited in scope, without having to burn a new villain/hero every single week. This is a LOT easier to manage. DC wants to rule comics TV, and for now it does, even though they bricked on Constantine. To me, there's much more potential downside than upside for a DC connected movie and tv universe. Those are some really good points and I hope DC is putting that much thought into it I wonder what Marvel will do with their continuity when some actor's contracts expire. Will there be a reboot, or will they follow the comics and put someone new in the suit?
  9. Also didn't this Foom just auction on ComicLink?
  10. I've been trying to get my hands on a high-grade copy of CoC #8 forever, I just LOVE that cover Nice pick-ups!
  11. He was good as Daredevil too There was a lot of hate for that movie when it came out, but I think ppl were just on the Affleck-hate-train at that time. Kevin Smith did a good job, I don't get it Then again maybe it was Gigli? Gigi? Gilgi? whatever that movie was called...
  12. IMHO the casting of Eisenberg as Luthor seems the worst choice out of everything. When I first saw the trailer I thought he was Mr. Mytzlplk.
