  1. I think it would help us answering if we had a small sample of which these are on your list.
  2. Took me 19 years to find this book
  3. I don't dislike it as a guess but what I remember of Berg on war stories is that his style is a little more tedious / close / fussy and he would never have drawn that bottom panel with the large main figure of the G.I. The art gives me a vibe from Ace or Farrell whose artists I am less familiar with. Like Buttock, probably way off track.
  4. I face the same with the fluctuating Euro to the USD all the time. It places a big charge to the accounting department of any firm to consider to refund you at what might have been the exchange rate back when you paid and even then, the transaction was listed, agreed and paid in USD. The refund must be in USD. Even considering they should / would consider FX fluctuations is a bridge too far. Imagine if you'd tell them you used Bitcoin to pay them in USD!
  5. Funny you should post today as I am also doing some quick reading from this Blue Book, date May 1935 with some of Flanagan's work where a lot is packed! -
  6. One of the traits I get from GT at that time are his hands: strong sinewy powerful and square and his characters have square jaws with smaller piercing eyes as well.
  7. Good guesses! I'll reveal it, it's run its time. This is GT = George Tuska at Atlas. Here's the splash of the story -
  8. Yeah, I left the clue in there for those wanting to dig and find out the sneak way. I am used to his work during this time period so I could ID him fairly well.
