  1. Gerber 775 mylite 2 bags with 750 full back boards, give those comics some room to breathe.
  2. How out of control is FF1? Holy cow. I just checked GPA on my #1 and it has doubled since I bought it 3.5 years ago, coincidentally, it is graded at a 3.5. I bought it to complete my FF Kirby run, and stood on the sidelines as IH 1 and AF15 went to dizzying heights. I was satisfied to have it in my collection and kind of thought it would never amount to much. I am from the generation where this book was the big SA leader. I wonder if there is any chance it could regain that status? I doubt it, but I think it is second only to AF15 in importance, which I missed the boat on. Would AF 15 exist if FF had flopped?
  3. +1 for selling on the boards. Great people buying and selling here. I have bought and sold a number of books well into the thousands, and have never had a problem. I think I may have had 2 returns in 200 or so deals and it was very civil. This place is self policed quite well. Ebay is the wild west, although I do sell there a bit, I know it's just a matter of time before I run into a hassle.
  4. WTTB Pretty hard to tell from here. Take it out of the bag and scan it, What makes you think it might be restored?
  5. That's all for today. Part III will be graded copies of 48 & 52, at CGC right now. thanks for looking!
  6. Fantastic Four #55 Very Good / Fine (5.0) $40 Classic cover, notably reprinted in "The origins of Marvel Comics", which is where I first saw it.
  7. Fantastic Four #53 Fine (6.0) $100 Part 2 of the Black Panther intro.
  8. Fantastic Four #51 Very Good / Fine (5.0) $60
  9. Fantastic Four #46 Very Fine- (7.5) $150 SOLD to Captkirkamerica I believe the market undervalues this book.
  10. Fantastic Four #44 Good / Very Good (3.0) $25 Not really a key I guess, just a cool book.
  11. Fantastic Four #36 Very Good / Fine (5.0) $100 SOLD to Captkirkamerica This book seems to have fallen out of favor, get it while it's cheap.
  12. Fantastic Four #18 Good+ (2.5) $75 SOLD to Captkirkamerica Upper staple is popped.
  13. Fantastic Four #7 Fair/Good (1.5) $75 1.25" tear through entire book, just beneath saucer mid right, otherwise complete with cover attached.
  14. Fantastic Four #4 Good+ (2.5) $450 SOLD to Callaway29 It is my opinion that this book has some serious upside potential. Your results may vary. Book is complete with no interior problems, cover attached.
  15. Hello, I recently had a chance to seriously upgrade my FF collection. Offered for sale are a number of key & semi key issues. Also, I now have a bunch of mid to grade filler issues in the Kirby run, PM me if you are looking for something, sorry, no 44, 48-50 or 52. Thanks to Senior Surfer I now have a link to my kudos thread: So, without further ado: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First in thread prevails despite ongoing negotiations. If we agree on a price per PM, the buyer must post the first in thread. Buyers of ill repute are encouraged to move on. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shipping - I have elected not to turn shipping into a profit center. I generally lose a few bucks, and I am OK with that. All orders over $100 ship free (US), all orders under $100 (US) ship for $5, any quantity of books, First class or priority depending on weight. Outside US, let's talk about it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Packaging - All orders are shipped in a new box, typically the awesome-for-comics Uline S-164, I pay around $.75 each for these. I grade conservatively to avoid disappointments and delight buyers. Any problem with a book that slips under my radar can be returned at my cost. Payment - Paypal only please Discussion in the thread is encouraged.
  16. 3, 9 & 11 are sold No love for the 8?
  17. Fantastic Four 11 - 2.5 (Q) $50 SOLD to Incredible Pulp Top staple detached, slight/moderate color touch on spine
  18. Fantastic Four 9 - 2.0 (Q) $100 SOLD to etanick This book has one tiny little tear seal, 1/4" x 1" on the inside of the cover. I would think someone with skills greater than mine could remove it pretty easily. Otherwise a textbook 2.0.
  19. Fantastic Four 8 - 3.0 (Q) $100 Some fool decided it would be a good idea to (heavily) color touch the spine. Book is complete, staples reasonably well attached.
  20. Fantastic Four #3 - 4.0 (Q) $350 SOLD to Electron Some fool thought it would be a good idea to add some glue in the top 2" of the spine. This has caused a 2" spine split on either side of the glued down spine section, you can see it through the .12 circle. Staples are reasonably still attached, book is complete. This is otherwise a very solid book. A press might even take it to a 5.0 (Q) It sure looks great in a mylar.
