  1. Somebody better call Tyrone and tell him to get his mess... So sad that Rick's BFF for over 30 issues (they did have that fight) doesn't get remembered properly. Click my signature for a proper memorial to those that have fallen. As for the issue, it was good.
  2. Image sellouts...2nd and 3rd printings...variants galore...now...
  3. Krighton and Madgenius have now listed their's.
  4. Got my Emerald City books today. A big thank you goes out to Desert Wind and JJ for handling my books with such care. Somebody out there has magic fingers because my WD #1:SE 9.6 (purchased here) came back a 9.8! Read about 'the new rack', 'the FedEx situation' and 'the books' here:

  7. It took some time... For someone with such high feedback, they don't seem to leave any for someone else... I had to find a transaction where the seller left it for them... comiconart!! http://myworld.ebay.com/comiconart!! They purchased this one, which is where I found the feedback: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAGA-1-CHAPTER-ONE-RRP-VF-B-B-/280866873787?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4164f861bb
  8. Also, I didn't think of this answer until after I had mailed in my survey, but someone can use it if you want... 18. Would you rather be trapped on the island from LOST with your Mom or Dad, why? Answer - What's LOST?
  9. She looks awesome. Reminded me of Pan from Pan's Labyrinth at first glance, until I realized she was a female. The axe was a little much in the forefront. I know it is sci-fi but I started trying to figure out 'where are the weapons kept when she is walking? She couldn't have walked on only the two legs as that seems to be unbalanced...'
  10. We can talk issue #2 all day long... I thought it was good. I knew what had to be coming at the end because I already saw the cover for #3. See my earlier, not so spoiled mini-review. What has bugged me about this gentleman and another is their constant need to talk money / quantity or in this recent case of trying to have a contest when we should be discussing the book. I don't care about the value of this book. I needed to find a book that I knew I would enjoy, based off your recommendation to read YTLM, and not speculate on. There has to be someplace to find fans to discuss it with the 'numbers' (not a LOST reference) getting in the way. Like you said: Not here and not in the Chew thread.
  11. Hmm, good thing I don't work in sales... How about this instead? -- So are you going to bid, or are you too chicken?? Seth Please stop posting in this thread. Your behavior is...how you say...stinking up the place.
  12. So...no one responded over the weekend... Who else filled out and mailed in the survey?
  13. Yes, it is me 1994, the year of the OJ Simpson murders, oversized print runs and variants... (You must choose what is worse...) *Too soon? (reason for edit...had to add another joke...)
  14. ...and with this news I bid collecting The Walking Dead adieu. I thought I would last to #100, but I won't be chasing those variants just so I can have them all.
  15. I thought the issue was good. The survey was fun. I didn't like 'The Stalk' once the reveal under the dress happened. Also, having aliens use the term 'baby daddy' is off-putting. Actually, anyone outside of Jerry Springer / Maury guests shouldn't use it. Also, TV-headed humanoids in fancy dress > zombies, any day of the week.
  16. I agree with Branget, I would appreciate it if we kept the 'return on investment / speculation / number crunching' out of the Saga thread and kept it going for pure enjoyment of the series / medium. P.S. don't try to write back at / to me because I probably have you on ignore (with good reason)...
  17. Tore out, filled out and mailed out my survey today. Anyone else do it?
  18. For those that want to read it, just let Fastballspecial know. I sent him my reader copy this week and he agreed to pass it around afterward. Only stipulation, you have to agree to pass it around as well once you've read it.
  19. I will provide both answers to your question (honest and Internet person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed): Internet person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed: You're kidding me right? You can't look at both covers and extrapolate an idea and then do your own research? Honest: Batman Adventures #12 features Harley Quinn's first comic appearance outside of the cartoon. Suicide Squad #6 features her New 52 origin story. (Batman: Mad Love having been her original origin story.)
  20. Fastball - If you want to read it PM me. I have a copy I passed amongst friends to a 80% success rate. The stipulation is you have to pass it along to some others to get them hooked as well.
  21. Does anyone know how much it costs to put together a Walking Dead variant? I think we should (reviving old idea from these boards) make a CGC variant.
