I love the art and was saddened when I found out it was digital. Obviously she can draw. It will make sketches / commissions at shows even more important to the fans. That being said, which is worse: Someone who creates their art digitally with no way to sell it or Someone who creates their work by hand but won't sell it, regardless of price (trust me when I say, I have told this person to just give me a number...)

That's it! These Walking Dead speculators have taken it too far. Now they are starting to bid up books that affect me. (check my signature line for my collection, but remember it is marked a spoiler for a reason) A recent NM #48 hit $45. Someone needs to stop them.

A Tate's variant of Star Wars: Dark Times #1 just ended at $92. Sometimes it makes me wonder what gets into people's mind as the bid past others that are available as Buy It Now. Has anyone else had that happen to them?

After my reader copy comes back from my friends I can send it to someone. As long as you also promise to keep passing it around.

As of today, with passing around a copy to friends I have had three friends (75% success) that have gone on to purchase a copy of #1 and have committed to buying the next couple of issues if they deliver on the same level.

Slabbing moderns is fine. Look to Branget as a prime example of how to do it right. I focus on personal, older modern books to slab. My main focus right now is SS of a series that I bought off the rack. The books won't be added to my registry until each one is complete.

I bought two. One to keep and the other to pass around to friends to get them hooked. It worked on one so far.
