  1. For those that want to read it, just let Fastballspecial know. I sent him my reader copy this week and he agreed to pass it around afterward. Only stipulation, you have to agree to pass it around as well once you've read it.
  2. I will provide both answers to your question (honest and Internet person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed): Internet person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed: You're kidding me right? You can't look at both covers and extrapolate an idea and then do your own research? Honest: Batman Adventures #12 features Harley Quinn's first comic appearance outside of the cartoon. Suicide Squad #6 features her New 52 origin story. (Batman: Mad Love having been her original origin story.)
  3. Fastball - If you want to read it PM me. I have a copy I passed amongst friends to a 80% success rate. The stipulation is you have to pass it along to some others to get them hooked as well.
  4. Does anyone know how much it costs to put together a Walking Dead variant? I think we should (reviving old idea from these boards) make a CGC variant.
  5. I love the art and was saddened when I found out it was digital. Obviously she can draw. It will make sketches / commissions at shows even more important to the fans. That being said, which is worse: Someone who creates their art digitally with no way to sell it or Someone who creates their work by hand but won't sell it, regardless of price (trust me when I say, I have told this person to just give me a number...)
  6. For the bounty hunter I imagine Jason Statham. Anyone get that?
  7. Too true re: black border and dings. Also, since the cover stock was cheap don't forget about the lower left corner...just trying to save you guys submitting multiple books repeatedly.
  8. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Grimm-Fairy-Tales-69-Beachbum-Comics-69-Virgin-Exclusive-Limited-to-69-/220986065428?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3373cbc214 Success!
  9. You and BeachBum when it comes to selling moderns... Comic wise...Saga, as I was able to take 4 people who would have never bought it or the series and turn them on to it...the other guy that didn't like it...communist?
  10. plenty hot...I used some to warm up the apartment during the winter...
  11. Is this the book everyone is talking about? How much would a BeachBum certified #128 run?
  12. That's it! These Walking Dead speculators have taken it too far. Now they are starting to bid up books that affect me. (check my signature line for my collection, but remember it is marked a spoiler for a reason) A recent NM #48 hit $45. Someone needs to stop them.
  13. Any title. I think this would be the next evolution of an idea. Obviously some creators would be excluded (Stephen King,Grant Morrison, etc...)
  14. I was looking at All-In-Ones last night and was wondering if anyone could give me feedback on: Epson WF 7510 or HP 7500a
  15. I think The Walking Dead (used to identify the brand not just the comic) talk in this thread can take a timeout and let some rising stars be featured. Is there anyone that reads this thread regularly that doesn't know The Walking Dead is heating up eBay? No internet points or laughs given to anyone that writes a variation of: 'The Walking Dead is hot?' or 'What the is The Walking Dead?' or 'Nobody puts (insert name related to The Walking Dead) in the corner!' Points and laughs will be awarded for anyone that writes a variation of: 'Your Mom is heating up my eBay' or 'What the heck are Internet points and where and what can I redeem them for?'
  16. This is why these boards rock. A friend bumps a page you have never seen and then you go digging through a collection you bought to find things that matter...
  17. (Gemini Problems) hipster-side > the business-side lately...
  18. So, my experiment in old time comic loving resulted in 80% success. Does anyone want to continue the experiment with their friends? I can mail the book out tomorrow.
  19. I have recently said 'I don't understand the music kids listen to now.'
  20. A Tate's variant of Star Wars: Dark Times #1 just ended at $92. Sometimes it makes me wonder what gets into people's mind as the bid past others that are available as Buy It Now. Has anyone else had that happen to them?
  21. After my reader copy comes back from my friends I can send it to someone. As long as you also promise to keep passing it around.
