After reading this thread, I decided to "keep up with the Joneses" & purchase a HP 8250 from a seller on eBay a few weeks ago; downloaded the basic driver (which took about a day and a half due to my secondary desktop being verrry sllloowww): Left the cover up, and used custom settings at 300dpi, and 16 on the contrast & brightness; kudos to the OP and various tipsters...LOVE this machine! This kudos post is a bit late, but would like to give my gracious thanx to GA Collectibles & Rich Henn for their superb facilitator abilities in acquiring sigs and subbing the books I've sent them. From GA Collectibles: Yes, I know that the 4 creators & artists had nothing to do with the current New 52 incarnation of the Swamp Thing...but I felt the sig op couldn't be missed, and I had no copper ST books... Was going to have this signed by "The Man" at Mid-Ohio, but Stan cancelled...chose this book to be signed instead of my ASM 129, because it seems like everyone has one of the latter...and the Avengers 14 is one of my nicer looking Silver Age books.
