  1. Hector bought a grab bag from me, paid the same day and communicated appropriately. Would be happy to do more business. (thumbs u Now someone please buy from him and help him get some of his money back so he can give it to me again
  2. Immediate payment on a significant dollar amount claim, great patience and communication. Would love to be able to sell to Phil again . . . and again . . . etc.
  3. Could not be better, immediate payment upon claim and same day confirmation message of receipt. What more could one want other than for him to buy more (please buy more, Jerry ).
  4. So, which way to the Spawn 185 B&W sketch variant thread appreciation thread?
  5. Well that took a little longer than I would have liked but here we are. Color breaking stress lines near the top staple, the flash makes the few non-color breaking stress lines along the spine look worse than they are. I also think the camera lens is dirty because none of the white dots exist on the book. Had it graded by four separate dealers over the years (AFTER I made it very clear it was not for sale) and they each said it is in the "VF/NM range" which I mostly agree with, I keep going back and forth between VF+ & VF/NM depending on the day. Most everyone says I grade very tight with a shade on the conservative side but whatever, I stand by it. This is the last of 3 copies I have owned. Sold the first one I got here advertised as "F/VF" which I thought was WAY undergraded, it returned 9.2. Sold it about a year later here on the boards for $500 which seems crazy now but was right in line with GPA for that grade at the time so no regrets. Sold the second last year in my "Grab Bag" selling thread as part of a " +The+List&topic=0&Search=true#Post8328253'>Variant #1's Lot " which the buyer then tried to list on eBay in “At Least NM- condition!”
  6. Oh yes! Another member is coming!!! In regards to Stan's sig that's the main thing that turns me away... I'm always shopping SS a unnecessary Stan Sig will definitely turn me away... If rather have the person who did the interior art then his... Even a late issue Spidey or X-Men book is fine, I get it. He was instrumental in the creation of those titles and characters as well as directly involved with the overall publishing aspect of Marvel at the time. But when I see a Yellow label NM 98 or even worse, an IH 181 with Stan's sig it's borderline infuriating.
  7. Why do people keep putting Stan's sig on books he has nothing to do with? This makes me All these cool clubs I've been oblivious to because I spend too much time in the WTB and TV/Movies section, I'll load a scan of mine tonight, sans ANY signature.
  8. Apparently the first appearance of Cable is plummeting, someone should jump on the relisted item now before it spikes again. Unsold NM 87 Relisted
  9. Selling (almost) all of my collection thread coming. Title pretty much covers it, I’ve accumulated an obscene amount of stuff and will hold onto a few small sets and lower grade dupes of some keys, but the rest is going to be up for grabs. This will be a great way to: • Start a collection • Fill holes in an existing collection • Grab quality wall books as well as back-stock for shop-owner and dealers I may run a separate grab bag style thread depending on how many duplicates of keys I have, but I will begin with runs that will include every book of that particular title I own. Most all the keys will be there from the Copper Age and up. These will not be cherry-picked runs, nor will they be ‘keys only’ (nor will I allow any cherry-picking from any listed sets). It will quite literally be, “Here is every issue of (FANTASTIC FOUR) I own for ($XX).” A group may contain a high dollar variant/key as well as some drek/dollar (50 cent) bin fodder. Prices will be group/bulk rate depending on the size and include all shipping. Larger runs will be broken up into more manageable sets; hypothetical example: ASM # up to 99: 16 total books (issue #’s listed) ASM # 100 – 199: 45 total books (issue #’s listed) etc. An example of a smaller group would be all my Iron Man issues: only 12 total books, they will include issues 118, 128, 150, 169, 170, 281, 281 reprint (with the cover from 282), 282 and a few others. I will get it started tonight with at least a general outline of the titles and groups I hope to post and continue throughout the week.
  10. if they were shown doing the deed... If memory serves, the title was originally called "Amazing Adult Fantasy" . . .
  11. Bought a large group of books, paid very fast and communication was exceptional. Can't wait to do it again. (thumbs u
  12. Didn't you read the description it says it looks like a 9.9, better buy iy now before somebody else gets this great deal. And it's signed by Stan Lee, who had so much to do with this title and character creation . . .
  13. Check your TV audio settings for a feature called "Dialogue Enhancer." If you've got one turn it on, helps immensely for action/adventure and heavy CGI flicks where all the talking seems low before you're vaulted out of your chair by gunfire and explosions.
  14. Quoted with permission from MediumLover.
  15. Purchased some nice single Avengers and Hulk books from Patrick, everything was stellar. He has the exact same taste in high grade books a snob like me loves so this probably won't be our last rodeo, can't wait to do it again (thumbs u
  16. Better than advertised condition, threw in a slew of freebies and met me halfway to save us both some time and money. Well worth it all!
  17. If that's the case I'll say he can come off with the stipulation that he'll be readmitted if there is a hiccup or snag along the way that we cannot overcome privately. I'll post again when the matter is 100% so there will be no readmission for this occurrence.
  18. You can actually as it has happened before. On that note, I would like to nominate Eric's (Hammerhead) removal from the PL. I've ask him to weigh in on the subject since he self nominated, but as the offended party I'm comfortable in him coming off the list as he has faithfully been fulfilling his commitment to repay for a consistent stretch now and I would like him to be able to sell items to further the cause if he wishes.
  19. That would be a nice setup for Secret Invasion somewhere down the line as that race was an enemy of the Skrulls.
  20. I forgot about that, Loki running Asgard. Wonder if that will come into play for a 3rd Thor movie or if that sets the pieces for the next celestial-based franchise after GOTG I thought the same thing, don't know if they're dropping hints or just enunciating to emphasize the continuity of the Marvel Universe they're drawing from. He's currently in hiding. Trusting no one because of the current Skrull invasion of Earth. We'll see him again in Season 4 when they debut the "Secret Invasion" storyline. This is Marvel. Many, many plots, movies, storylines are planned out years in advance. I believe they refer to them as "stages". Such a forward thinking company. It's why Marvel rules the world. I feel like Fury is "laying low" because he perceives untrustworthy entities inside SHIELD stirring up shenanigans (as has been alluded in the Cap movie previews). I get the feeling they're either going to kill him off or he'll appear to die leaving Coulson's questions unanswered, thus dragging out this "how am I alive and what is GH325" storyline. Since the movie comes out before the end of the season they can employ some kind of associated cliffhanger in the last episode. I will pay money to see her in just about anything at this point (I think I would pay even more money to see her out of anything as well )
  21. Happy [insert applicable holiday here] to the nephew.
  22. Top-notch. Stellar communication and fast payment, always welcome in my selling thread.
  23. Lightning payment and good communication, always open for business to this member
  24. + a million (thumbs u Would love to feel like I could board SDF-1 if I got up from my seat and walked down to the front of the IMAX theater
  25. Lee was great to deal with and I welcome further transactions in the future. Thanks again and look forward to doing business down the road. (thumbs u
