My January 27 Modern shipped on Friday. Got 50 slabs in the mail coming home!

I personally like seeing books I don't see all the time, or never. Sometimes gives me ideas on things I want to chase down.

My 1/24 Modern shipped today. My 1/27 Modern went to Grading QC. I'll take less than a month door to door all day long.

I think I'll just wait a month and buy my Batman 89 for 7 bucks.

My moderns received on 1/24 went to SFG this morning.

Nice to hear from you again Lighthouse. I still remember one of my better days was when I went down to San Antonio to visit some friends and ended up spending like 4 hours in your store and ended up leaving with almost 2 short boxes worth of back issues. And I only left because the 2 girls who drove me there were asleep in the car and ready to ditch me. At the time it was one of the best back issue selections I had seen in a brick and mortar. Glad you're doing well. Wonderful story.

I don't get it either. I bought a 250 dollar press about 5 years ago, just for my own books I submit. It's paid for itself about a hundred times over at least.

Actually Greggy tells them ahead of time what the grades are and they just go with that. Saves time!

Yeah that statement is totally inaccurate. Most distributor spraying happened in the late 60's and 70's. I rarely see it on 80's and 90's books.

And let's face it....All due respect to the late great Jack Kirby.....He's done more for comics than almost anyone. But The Eternals is practically unreadable..

Because nothing says quality comic books like 'grime'.

I think each book has 3 graders. If there's a difference of opinion, they discuss and hash it out. Or maybe the Meat Loaf rule....2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I honestly don't think that would be an issue. Maybe I'm just naive.

First appearance of second Isis. Adrianna Tomaz. I've been picking that book up where ever I see it for over a year now. It's only a matter of time. If she pops up in either a Shazam or Black Adam movie, I am pretty certain this is the version they will use.
