They literally did. And they didn't even wait to get received. I mailed them out on 11/2.

I renewed like 2 days before submitting these. There was another batch sent that same day that did not get this royal treatment and is still SFG.

This thread made me go and break out my copy...a third print...and flip through it. I loved seeing this review of a then unknown bands album,,,,,it's about as spot on as a review can get.

I had 4 submissions arrive at the CGC facility on Friday and this morning they were entered into the system. That was a surprise. All modern slow. 2 of the submissions went directly to GEI and 2 of them went to SFG. It's truly the wild west out there. Do I expect to see these books again anytime in the next 8 months? No. I do not.

Disappointment takes time.

I had the exact same thing happen yesterday. Received on 10/6 then straight to GEI. Maybe we got lucky. Or maybe it will sit there forever. Meanwhile all my other books from July just sit in SFG.

FF 358 still looks like a dollar book to me.

It's also interesting to see how many young people are out there buying and selling. The vast majority of those sellers are probably in their 20's and know almost nothing about comics before 2000. Bronze and silver are rare to see and don't garner much interest. But someone tosses up a Stray Dogs and the bidding goes nuts. And the music! Man...shoot me now! If I go into an auction and the music is as loud as the sellers voice, I am out!

I wonder if they are waiting on new cases to be made.

I don't see this as a book that will drop in value much....It may sit tight for a while but up is the only place it will go in the future.

Seriously? I've been doing it wrong. I always do individual boxes of 25 even if it's the same tier.

Avengers 129 was one of the first 2 or 3 comics I ever read as a kid. Iron Man instantly became my favorite character when he says, on the top of page 2 I believe, 'Calling yourself Kang the Conqueror kinda gives it away, doncha think?"

And my 4 reholders 'received' 6/16 were shipped yesterday. Honestly that was quicker than I expected.
