  1. I call wildly_fanciful_statement. Spider-Man is an iconic, high-profile character whose appeal has been mainstream for at least 30 years. I find it hard to believe that even someone who knows nothing at all about comics or comic book subculture would look at a cover that says 'Introducing Spider-Man' and not question whether if it had any value outside of yard sale filler. All depends where you are. The mess people throw away in the garbage where I live is insane. Then again, my town is split into two. One half is pelham(average 500k-700k homes and that's where I live) and the other half is the manor(2 mill and up homes). The mess the people in the manor throw away on bulk garbage nights is insane. I always go through the manor on my way to work when its bulk garbage that morning. You would be amazed at what people don't care about. So what do you pick out? I picked up a crate of records one two diff occasions. One time it was LPs, nothing good. I gave them all away to good will. The second time was a bunch of 45s from the 50s. Gave them to my uncle for 1,500$. I know they were worth more since there was one record in there that booked for 8,000 but it was beat up pretty good.

  3. I figured you racked up nicely in the past. I looked at your hulk website and if those are all your books on there. Very nice collection/website. The hulk 1 + 2 are stunning.
  4. Very nice raw comics you have, how long ago did you make all of these purchases?
  5. My dad called me last week and said he found a long box of comics in the garbage near by his house, I picked it up tonight. There's a John Bryne FF run 232-293, small captain marvel run like 35-46, crisis 1-12, then like misc 50 or so other bronze age comics. The kicker is they were all bagged and boarded in HG like 9.0+ some moisture to the bottom of the box from sitting in the grass waiting to be picked up by the recycling men but luckily everything was bagged and nothing was damaged. I started replacing the backs/bags due to them being yellow and old. Will show some pictures tomorrow or wed when I have some time.
  6. Just purchased this off the Bay for 425$ 75 under GPA. Hope to resub for a PQ bump but I will decide when its in hand.
  7. Just held it in my hands at the store it is an incredibly beautiful book! Puts my 3.0 to shame. Just beautiful. One of the toughest books over VG/F
  8. Completed a 4 digit sale with steve, everything went great as usual. Thanks again (thumbs u
  9. Since I've signed up for GPA I have noticed that 2009/10 gpa is higher than now by a decent amount on anything under 9.6/8. I'm sure it will all level off. P.S. a lot of those twin city grades are gifts, they have 9.6's with dust shadows.

  14. I was watching him a while back and he only sells on Sundays. He uses that account with 0 feedback to boost the price. If he doesn't like the price that its going to be sold for he makes sure the 0 feedback wins the auction. Also, you will notice he will relist a lot of the keys he has over and over. I remember watching first SA two face bring in like 250+ with rusted staples. Its insane the prices he gets for some of his junk.
