  1. Was the guy's name Ed Kelly? From Kellysuperheroes? If so, you totally got scammed.
  2. I just finish watching it, and all I have to say is...This is the way!
  3. SW #8 was absolutely a thing. I personally bought multiple copies and so did most collectors that I knew. MTU #141 never really cared, although I did buy one of each DE & newsie.
  4. I was actively buying newsies at that time period and I don't ever recall seeing any Supergirl or Catwoman comics. I did pick this up though.
  5. My LCS were only allowing one book per customer. That's it. I tried going to other shops and they were sold out. I knew that 3 weeks later the newsstands were going to get their copies. On the day that they got their books I went to close to 15 different newsstands in Queens. I grabbed everything I saw including the lower grade copies that I usually left behind. All in total, I bought 127 copies. Throughout the following years I submitted copies to CGC starting around 2006 or so. I still have around 50 or more raw copies left.
  6. I pre-ordered about 100 copies back in 1992 for about 83 cents each. I've been selling them off for the last 10 years or so. These were submitted back in April for a 9.8 pre-screen. I've been getting between $100 to $180 for each.
  7. If he was a newsstand guy where are the newsies? All I see is Direct Edition copies.
  8. Sold a bunch over the summer. But still have plenty more.
  9. Every single 9.8 newsie that I have in my collection, I personally submitted to CGC. I was actively searching them out in the mid 2000's. In fact, I regret that I left so many 9.4's to 9.6's behind.
