Last time I look, they do grade magazines (Mad Magazine comes to mind) so...... they might

This has been brought up before and I don't believe you can check on the status. That's one of the perks of a Paid Membership. The submitter should be able to check though. I have heard stories where the store waits until they have enough for a larger submission, cheaper for them. Even if you only submit 10 books a year, it may behoove you to buy a membership.
Yeah.... that’s what I’m afraid of. I’ve paid for shipping but I’m thinking that the store might ship books on a monthly basis rather than by order. It ok thought, as long as the job gets done. Plus there’s a lot of facilitators in my area. If one doesn’t work out there’s always 2 more that’ll take its place. HAIL HYDRA.

I’m not suspicious of the store..... it’s just I wanted to know when they submitted the books. Or if the books arrived safely. Or the progress....
-
I’m not a heavy submitter of books. I think my annual average is less than 10.
If I submitted a book using a store, I got a copy of the cgc form. Is there a way I can see if the store really did submitted the books??

Saw “New Dimensions “
really liking it. At least they showed an episode why/how Gordon became Chief Engineer, not unlike TNG where on season two, Geordi all of a sudden became Chief without any explanation

Paddy, I am in the same boat - and I think we may have subbed through the same shop.
10 books submitted (to retailer) 3/12, 3 books submitted 5/5.
I believe status is "in transit".
I hate to ask but.... which shop are you talking about??? I'm hoping it's not the one that I dealt with recently.....

Read it today...... nice story, but it got me confused....I’m assuming this story was/is from the 50s or 60s since their costume are from those eras. So what’s the point in telling this story.... is the whole point that no matter which universes, Batman and Catwoman are destined to be together?? Like Lois and Clark?? Maybe they should make a book titled : the bat and the cat

I’m hoping it’s a good read. Geoff Johns is one of my favourite writers. He did wrote : Blackest Day , Flashpoint, GL Rebirt. Plus he made Greenlantern cool (again?)

Really enjoyed the finale, and the first 6 episodes so far.
I wasn't sure how the finale progressed the theory that Lt. Tyler is Voq who's been transformed... Some of those PTSD flashbacks were either Lt Tyler being tortured, or him under-going some kind of surgery (if the latter, then definitely could be Voq). That being said, Tyler doesn't seem to think he's Voq, so maybe Tyler is who he is, but then has someone gotten the consciousness of Voq implanted into him (but beneath the surface)? Or potentially the other way around (Voq's body, Tyler's consciousness?)
SpoilerIt could be that Tyler flashback isn’t torture BUT the procedure of making him human......

Maybe a stupid question : why are gun safe, not safe for CGC books?? Do they generate more humidity, compared to a regular CGC Box?? Or to a stainless steel box??
I've had my CGC box in the basement for years now, and they seemed to be in good condition. Mind you though the basement is not finished and it's really cool down there, even on a hot summer day.....

I’m a bit surprised how much I’m digging this new series. The acting, storyline, visual effects, just about everything is top notch
SpoilerAnybody find it odd that Star Trek can now use “the f word”???
SpoilerWho’s gonna bet that the prisoner that Captain Lorca got away with becomes a spy for the Klingon

Agreed.... if you have them...sell them. When Spider-Gwen and Gwenpoole came out, everybody was going gaga over them. Even people that not into comics, wanted to cosplay the characters. With Weapon H, this is just a hype.

If it does die, I predict it is the kind of show that people will rediscover in a few years and say "hey, this was pretty good."
*cough* Firefly *cough*
BTW : Love the show (specially the "where's your friends?"-answer, from the last episode)

Also, I didn't know they had site to site transport 10 years before the first series. It could be an indication they are taking certain liberties with the history. Anyone else catch that? Or is it something that I simply imagined in the 3rd episode.
Love the show.
I noticed that too.... I didn't think they can do a site-to-site transport without going through the transporters...... BUT then again, I believe due to the nature of Discovery's mission, she would be fitted with advance and "questionable" technologies. Does this mean Discovery is a "black-opps" ship??
I think Star Trek Discovery should be in the "movie timeline" (Kelvin Timeline) just how everything fits and bridge and ship design... it's a lot more edgier than the original timeline......
-
Saw the first two episodes, gotta say it's interesting.
Im a bit confused as to where this series should go/belong..... does it belong to the original timeline or the Kelvin's alternate timeline?? If they are in the Kelvin's, does that mean Niro is still around (the series starts 10yrs before Captain Kirk) ???? Or does the producers means 10 yrs before Kirk was born?? In which case no Nero???
On a lighter note : There uniform suggests that it takes after ST:Enterprise (being with a blue jumpsuit). I always love ST:Enterprise.

This makes me wonder.... who color these covers??? Is it true colourist only gets $5,000 per cover?? That's cheap change.....
i always thought that with photoshop and all the photo software out there, Campbell would have been colouring it himself.....

I think you may be on to something. They have word of mouth, but need that buzz to increase or keep demand. I just started to look at his site maybe early last year and it didn't seem like he did his own covers that often as now. Definitely a light bulb went on!
If they have word of mouth, I would have suspected them advertising the covers on a longer term.
