Makes sense...800 print run Harley Quinn Pink sells for almost $500 raw. This is a 500 print run...actually surprised they're not selling for more...
Venom is a popular character but he's no Harley Quinn. Is there a hotter character than Harley right now?
Deadpool

Where did you see that for Canada has a minimum of $145???
Or was that $145CND?? With shipping???

It's coming back in both comic & video game format. Apparently Joe Mad has been Kickstarter-ing it for a little while now.
I remember reading something about that....but that was at least one year ago......

I think most of the cover that Aspen is re-producing all belongs to Aspen or to the Turner's Family.
I think that Harley head sketch is from a private commission, so they can't really re-produced the sketch....
Agreed though, that would make a beautiful. Much better than Aspen's exclusive Harley cover.

Rant......
I missed out on Batman #1 and now it looks like I missed out OR will miss out on Amazing Spider-Man...... I loved Turners art, they are a master piece and you can see that he truly loved drawing..... But with how Aspen (a company Turner practically founded) is handling the printing and distribution of those books. If Aspen really wants to honour Turners memory, they should have a much higher prints... This way every Turner fan can get a copy. With how Aspen is doing, I wouldn't be suprised if Turner is rolling on his grave...
Ok rant over.....
U sound jealous
You're D.a.Mb right I'm jealous and pissed as hell...... its been years since the last Turner book (maybe even a decade) and what does Aspen do, they limit the copies to 3000 or 3500... That is just f***ed up.
Then on the day they open the website for pre-sale and said it'll begin at 9:00.... I was on the computer at 9:00...BUT guess what, the website crash. I can't stay at the computer all day and wait for them to fix it, some of us has a job to do. When I got back...BOOM, it sold out. They even have the nerve of having the comics in the front page but when you click on it, it was sold out.
I didn't even have the opportunity to order, let alone put in my cart.... I heard some people went as far as checkout, but the website crashed again (or was sold out) if I'm pissedas hell, I can't imagine how pissed those people are....

5 stores, 6 copies total of Batman/Superman 32 available. I guess most went to file customers. This is one you need to hold on to till Rebirth when he appears again. You can quick flip and make a few bucks or wait and make more.
1st Superman Chinese Knock-off???
Everything else is being knock off by china... why not superhero too....

I just checked the Census, and wow, there are waaaaaaay more NYX #3 9.8's out there then I thought... I had once heard it was a "rare" book. Yeah... Not so much.
I remember when the comic came out (2000 ish I think)I heard that the artist (Middleton) brought atleast 100 copies and sent it directly to CGC. He knew who was being introduced in the comic, that's the reason why he sent that many. He then sold all of them in eBay a few months/year after, for a good $$$...... atleast that's what I've heard

Wanted to post a couple pics of my comic "gallery." It's a 10'x10' room in my home with gray painted walls and white molding.
I'm a big fan of DC: Batman, Harley Quinn, Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman. A lot of Neal Adams for Neal Adams month
I also like The Walking Dead by Image.
The room has custom-built "floating" shelves that hold 50 comics (25 on each wall). All are CGC graded and most are signed (SS) as well. Sorry for the glare.
Another wall will eventually have a tall black wooden bookcase to showcase my action figures and the few statues I own. This will also block the one window and eliminate the glare.
On another wall is just art prints. The ones featured here are (clockwise left to right): Batman 655 with Andy Kubert wood wall art, Harley Quinn by Michael Turner, Batman (Gotham Knight by Kelley Jones - this was my first piece and bought at the now closed WB Studio Store, my dad and I framed this one), The Dark Knight Rises by Olly Moss, and the last piece is Bane, also from The Dark Knight Rises. The Harley print and the two for TDKR were custom framed by a local framer.
The last wall (not shown here) is the entry door and a closet. Above the closet I have all of my Batman Legos. In the closet are raw books and CGC books that do not currently fit on the shelves. Hope you enjoy.
P.S. Big thanks to dscott and Rich_Henn for obtaining a lot of these sigs.
Love the "Bat-carpet".... where'd you get it?? any "super-carpet" around??

So where can I get a 9.8 SS copy of the middle book?

Approx. 30 sketch covers from Mehdi. The pic simply does not do them all justice and several are wraparound covers. Pencil and pen and ink. Interested in commissioning a piece? Inquire with Comic Con Art,
Forgive my ignorance but....... whats comic con art??would love to get one sketch

Was there a reason why it's pricey???
The comic cover is very common....didn't hear anything wrong with them.
The creative teams' signature are costly BUT still within reason.....
anybody knows why it's bringing in all that dough?? OR is it that high because it's the first one in the market???
-
Give it a few months after the movie comes out.... after that, prices should return to normal.... same thing happened to Bane and Venom
-
A friend of mine once pointed out that if Armageddon does come, he would put on all of the superheroes undergarments.
Think about it, in all the comic books stories, they're underwear is the most impenetrable suits that they would have.....
-
So how many issues came out today for the poly bag?? Batman, Green Arrow & Green Lantern (maybe last week) comes to mind.......
-
Great Scott...... There are almost 2000 copies submitted to cgc??
-
I have a question for everybody :
Which would make a book hot(ter)??
a high profile artist doing the book or cover???
OR a major storyline shake-up?? Death or 1st appearance???
-
In case any of you wanted a signed copy...
Here's where the Stan-Lee-signed BA12 finished at auction.
You know you want to look!
Thanks for sharing (sharing...is...caring....)
That's a very interesting signature location

went to three LCS here.... all of them had that "ding" on the corner. One guy's explanation was that the books were so thick, the corner gave
