What's the significant of 86???

Sorry for your loss.....
Just out of curiosity... how did this happened? Was the basement drain clogged not working or backed-up? Is it an old house where it doesn't have or limited basement/foundation water protection (barrier)??
I too lived in the GTA and I rarely heard anything about flooded basements. Yes I know, we've been getting crazy rain recently, I think Toronto Island is still off limits because of flooding, but between the city's water sewers system and your house's water barrier, basement flooding can be avoided.

I remember this issue. My LCS had it at the back with the other regular cover. I had it and asked for any info on it (if it's 1:50, or 100 or 10) my guy didn't even realized that there was a different cover. He told me I can have it for regular price. I passed on it, since I think it was a big week for me on that Wednesday. When I got home I looked at the internet to see what's all the fuss is about. As soon as I heard about this, I called up my LCS and asked the book to be put on hold. He said that 2 minutes after I left "somebody brought".
To to this day I regret it, and maybe for the rest of my life

With the new Venom movie being announced not to long ago, I think this series will be fairly hot. I know there has been a lot of Venom covers of late and some are over them but as a Venom and Symbiote fan, I can't get enough of them. The price of the first Venom appearance (ASM #300) have jumped up substantially in the last year or so. I am looking forward to the rest of this series and the variants that go alone with it.
ASM 300 became hot when Sony announced Spider-man 3.... then it hit theatres and then we all know what happened. The movie was a total disaster. ASM 300 dropped like Trump's top aides . Hey I'm not complaining, that's how I got my copy.
If the movies good, ASM 300 will continue to rise, if the movie is good....

I don't know......Marvel seems that they can't decide what they want to do with Venom. First he's a villain, then anti-hero, or was that anti-villain, then now he's back with Brock..... just makeup your mind already

Agreed... 2008 X-Force series is a great read... BUT it's not an X-23 solo read. You got Wolverine (Logan), Archangel, Domino, etc... X-23 was a member. I don't remember having read an X-23 solo stories in X-Force??

I think X-23 has a unique personality that separates her from Wolverine enough to make an interesting character but keeps her roots very clearly shown
I dont know....in the movie, she didn't talk too much, great chemistry between her and Hugh. If the writing is great, it may do good.
Aside from NYX, any other X-23 good/great stories out there???

When they announce that there will be a con cover, I thought it will be a combination of the "big three avengers" Captain America, Thor and Ironman. No offence, but I never imagine as Vision as one of the "big three".

Maybe the "A" stands for autograph. 1993 does pre-dates CGC and who knows maybe it's DC's way of a "certification".

I seemed to remember reading somewhere (I think it's in the mailing column of Funeral for a Friend ) where Dan Jurgens and the other writers held some sort off a contest of some kind. The winners (many winners) were given an autograph copy of Superman 75 special platinum signed by an writer or artist or inker or at least one from the group.
Anybody remember this???

You're lucky. My set looked like someone dropped on their corners then stepped on it for all three copies before packaging it up. Needless to say i won't buy from them again.
Send them an email and explain your situation. They might send you a replacement copies....it's worth a try

I remember a few years ago (maybe 10 yrs) I brought a CGC SS 9.8 Walking Dead #1 from a boardie for around $700 CND$ as a birthday gift for myself. My wife thought I was crazy, but being as it's my birthday she let it slide....... now, with today's prices, she is upset with me since I didn't brought more of it.....
man, you just win

The ASM order that I received had about 0.5 cm cut off from the top (I can actually see page 1). I emailed the website store. We've been emailing back and forth last month. After I showed them a picture and requested a replacement books, they never replied back..... anybody experiencing the same thing??

You know what you're probably right. With all the cover that JSC that produced (variants and exclusive) , I wouldn't be surprised if this is the 86th cover he made
