    After going through Bedrock City's inventory I was surprised to see the price of this book. I picked it up at auction about a year or so ago for well under 200 dollars. No one even seemed that interested in the book at the time. I wanted it for the Kamen art. It looks better than the dull crappy scan that I kept of it from the auction too. Still need a 1 and 3 though...

    Some "placeholders" I picked up tonight until I can upgrade. I kept missing out on some of these in higher grades so I figured a bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush for now. Aside from the Moon Girl story I'll need in Happy Houlihan's #1 for my Moon Girl run I think the other three are just really great covers. The Happy Houlihan's book just freaks me out a bit looking at it's cover. Hard to wrap your head around what EC Comics was before the horror period.

    For me some of the best pre-code covers were done by a guy named Bill Everett over at Atlas/Marvel. Just look at copies of Menace #5 or Venus #17-19 to see the skill set. LB Cole, Matt Baker,etc... The 1950's was full of fantastic artists before the code and not all worked for EC Comics.
