  1. Also some invoice when a thread is completed vs daily etc. Who is to say that one may be available 7 days from now and not in the middle of nowhere camping.
  2. Good image! I love the series, its on my pull, I am disappointed in the delays, I am invested in the series, I hope the series continues, wish for rainbows and sunshine.
  3. Right. My understanding is that if you don't allow him to complete the deal, then you can't put him on the probation list. Completing a deal is the way for deadbeat buyers (and sellers) to get off the list. So, you can refuse to sell to him -- given 30 days passed without his paying -- but in that case you can't put him on the probation list. Or you can put him on the probation list, but then you have to be willing to complete the deal with him, after which he would come off the list. I'm a little cofused here. I do not want to hold the books for him for months in hope that he will eventually come forward to close the deal. After all he is at fault here, since he did not complete our transaction by payment for the books. I want to be able to offer the books in my next sales thread. This will not be possible if he's put on the probation list, since you stated that I should be willing to complete the deal with him. Then let's not put him on the probation list. This way I can sell the books. What if he decides that he finally wants to go through with the deal in let's say a month or so? Imagine he just paypals me the money for the books, but that I have sold them in that time. Then he can probably put me on the probation list, because I don't have the books anymore. Weird, don't you think? Cheers Mike Once the 48hrs is up from the PM you sent him telling him you were nominating him for the PL list he is able to be put up. After that point you have zero obligation to hold the books and can sell them as the 30 day rule has already passed (July 27th). This means you can sell away. One thing though is down the road the buyer may want to make good on his promise breaking and try and get back into the good books of the boards. One way many do this is either make a donation to a charity, send x amount of money to the individual (If you lose $40 on the deal then sending you the $40 bucks shows they are trying to make good) etc. The PL is not a place to stake someone and not let them ever come back, there needs to be ways for individuals who up to make it right again.
  4. Thanks for supporting theft. (thumbs u The...horror...the...horror You'd think, as an artist, you'd agree. I love theft. Klepto
  5. Agreed...most covers are very "busy" I love the MP and NWM covers cause they aren't so much Ryan has my 1 4th and 1 5th in a box at his house
  6. @ItsJustRyan...since you got me most of my other NWM covers can you get me one of those covers? @Beerthirty I am hating on you so much cause I have every other book thus far and wants!
  7. I doubt it would help the grade. Also knowing the seller I would speculate that it's already been pressed to hell Stated it was in the thread and in the Ebay listing
  8. Depending why it is green missing pages/parts yes. Unwitnessed sig not so much
  9. Negative...isn't even in the diamond database as of last night
  10. You have lots of time to finish the second trade before the 3rd arc starts
  11. Ala transformers? Ya was a pain to navigate roads blocked off, parking lots not for public use etc.
  12. I image is going through growing pains. NWM is not the only book having issues coming out on time.
  13. Bumble Bee was rocking it in Detroit yesterday...apparently Matt was wondering around too.
  14. 4.5 with ow/w sold on Feebay few days ago for something like $2700. I know both myself and the oak know that is a nice uptick.
  15. I heard he was also part of the JFK ploys.
  16. Every time I see posts here I get excited...Then read them and get disappointed
  17. I was just looking at this. Also. Showing off books bought today at a LCS. Yep....duly noted. He pulled this with me last year to get out of a purchase, and then within a day was posting WTBs and purchasing books. So the job market in the UK must be amazing in the way of rehires. I saw this twice yesterday. In fairness to the sellers whose threads the slapfights are happening in, wouldn't a PM to the seller suffice? I didn't get the feeling that consideration for others is really what he's all about. I have no idea who we're talking about. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6907386#Post6907386 All the shenanigans lead to a sale WTG Speedy!
  18. I feel like this thread is going nowhere
  19. You didn't post all the pages how can I read your copy?
  20. Not much but there are some darn good detectives in here and I don't mean the comic books. However that said if found he could potentially be perma banned for making shills.
  21. That's not the way I remember it...there were no conditions/assumptions attached to A. Romeo's removal of zombizzy, much to many of our chagrin; A.Romeo started getting frustrated with the whole scenario and the advice he was receiving from the thread and basically said " it, take him off " (with an implicit " you" to many of the boardies who were commenting on the situation) : Then, based on discussion of the fact that the OP's request to remove was enough per the rules, Speedy-D removed zombizzy (correctly, based on the rules, IMHO): At that moment, zombizzy was off the PL, contingency free, I believe. I agree with Speedy-D (and others) that A.Romeo should have waited until he actually received his refund before removal, but he didn't. Now, zombizzy has reneged on another transaction, i.e., the offer to send a PayPal payment on 7/23. So, I think the 30 day clock starts over for that transaction...so, A. Romeo can nominate zombizzy to the PL on August 23rd. That extra waiting time is A. Romeo's cost for premature PL removal...we tried to warn him. My Should the 30 days not start from when he said "I will give you a refund" not days later when he says I will actually send it tomorrow? Not that I agree he should be having to wait another x number of days for the initial issue. I think the reason he should have been left on was to prevent transactions from happening between "will give you a refund" and "refund sent"
  22. Had he not offered to pay for the books and make good on the I would agree. However he realized that by making signs and not following through he was going nowhere in the community due to the PL, thus it served its purpose. He can only do so much to make restitution and should he do it again I don't think many would hesitate to say HOS.
  23. Click the links...let us know if they are the same seller. Then if by chance they are is the seller WHEATON?
