I've yet to hear one person say they are a huge fan of his. Heck, even that they like it at all. Who's buying these up? I would never knock his talent or style, it's just not for me. Are teens buying them up? Kids? My girlfriend. He's worked on a Neil Gaiman book and she started liking him then. Does he have a strong female fan base? Or majority female? I don't know really. She bought his poster of Rocket Raccoon because the thought it looked cool. Found it while I was looking around a comic shop with her.

His auctions are dumb. He put more work in to that remark than he has any sketch cover of his I've seen.

What bothers me is that Ricks gun is lined up with his right shoulder and pointing to the left. Yet Rick is looking to the right, nowhere near where he is pointing his gun.

Neal Adams. I thought it would be a good idea to get a remark from him...... 30 minutes later after he had a quarrel with his (wife?) and chatted with a bunch of other people (never once speaking to me) all the while I waited with my hands in my pockets he finally finished. When he asked if I wanted an inscription and said no, because I wanted to make a jam piece out of it. The face he made was less than enthused. Never again.

Thanks everyone. The guy before me got a Rick and the person after me was getting a Michonne. While I'd love to have one of those as well I think the zombie idea was a lot cooler. If anyone ever gets a chance to see Tony at one of these small shows like Derby City its a prime time for a sketch. Recently he wouldn't be sketching at conventions only pre-ordered ones. I was really surprised that he was doing it at the show at all. At Derby City he'd previously just done sketch cards too. I was floored that their were times where no one would be at his booth for 10-15 minutes at a time. At a big show that would be unheard of. It might be that people around here just don't care, I'm not sure. But I'll take advantage of it either way.
