    I'm thinking it was in direct sunlight. That edge chip wasn't there just before I scanned it, so the edges are slightly brittle. I have two other copies, but I keep this because it does look kinda cool.

    Personally I find this to be a positive thing, but when I look at this image from the surface of Mars, I can see the top of the head and hands/fingers of a classic Kirby monster, waiting to emerge from the ground once we land humans on the planet.

    I don't really know if this is an error- Maybe it's just my eyes, but the MCG bar at the top look gray rather than light blue. I only have one copy of #184, but my 'return' copy of #143 shows a clear difference. Red tends to fade before blue so I don't thinks it's that.
