  1. It doesn't bother me much. I purchased this here 2 years ago, and don't regret it one bit. Best looking 7.5 I have. [That's not floating debris in the slab, it's on the comic box]
  2. Otherwise it's like saying if Secret Wars II never came out, the Beyonder never appeared.
  3. I place these pages before any comics I purchased this year. World's Greatest Comics Magazine #10 pg1 Splash Ron Frenz & Mike Royer Infinity Man & The Forever People #9 pages 1 & 4 Keith Giffen & Scott Koblish channeling Kirby & Royer.
  4. The one I remember was a light-blue statue/bust on a shelf in the background of someone's home, so it's likely the Miracle Man cover. It's also likely I saw it in an older, similar thread.
  5. That's probably what I was thinking (it was light-blue and on a shelf). I could have sworn it was DC, Starlin, and interior art.
  6. Barry Geller, the man who hired Jack Kirby to create the artwork for Science Fiction Land (based on Robert Nelazny's Lord Of Light LINK), is a good friend, and has been working his tail off for the last 7 years trying to get LOL merchandise on the market. My brother and I (and others) invested to help get this going. He's had several setbacks, including the pandemic, but things seem to moving along. "HAD I NOT BEEN INVITED TO BE INVOLVED WITH 'LORD OF LIGHT', I WOULD HAVE GONE OUT OF MY WAY TO MAKE SURE I COULD BE. I HAD TO BE INVOLVED! IT'S VERY CHALLENGING..IT'S VERY POWERFUL. I BELIEVE THAT THIS FILM AND THE WAY WE ARE CONCIEVING IT COULD CONTRIBUTE TO SAVING THE WORLD." -- JACK KIRBY: JUNE 1979 INTERVIEW Here's what Barry thought of Argo; "This film is NOT correct! But cool." For kicks I had him and Mike Royer (who inked the LOL art, and introduced me to Barry) sign my DVD and the sleave. Large article about the truth of the CIA's obtaining The Lord of Light to free the hostages. Here's some of the merchandise so far. Not sure what, if anything, is available right now. If you can find one, Heavy Metal magazine ran an article about Lord of Light. Issue #276
  7. Agreed. I dislike most of Milgrom's work (that I've seen), but I've heard several stories about the man from Mike Royer, and I would have taken advantage of such an opportunity to experience those qualities myself. If I never heard one of those stories, I'm very happy to know I don't have what it takes to WANT to insult him in person.
