At what point does this consideration end, and you feel you know a person you've never met well enough to justify ribbing or arguing with them?
Sure, people can feel they know who a person is from back and forths after a length of time, but that works both ways, doesn't it? Using that mindset, people are just as right about "you" as "you" are about "them", and here we are.
I suppose with the changing times it actually will be necessary to assume someone you just met is a fragile flower, who cannot be joked with or disagreed with.
Thank God "we" weren't like this before WWII broke out.
