  1. GT, incredible books! The colors just POP!
  2. BTW, is that the original ALIEN doll on your shelf Mr. Ill?
  3. What is the FMV for the Marauder? My brother had one and would never let me touch it. HE only had it for about a week until it was stolen.
  4. You know someone out there is waiting for the ok to send that in.
  5. So the video game must be shrinkwrapped and they grade the box, I'm assuming? I have a few vintage Atari games with boxes with the instruction manual but not wrapped.
  6. Let me get this straight: there is a company that encases vintage video games?
  7. I'm confused on just what they would grade. At first I thought it was only comic mags/graphic novels but then saw they added Sports Illustrated and Playboy (?) to the mix. I today saw a graded Monsters of Filmland. I've been wanting to do Starlog, Fangoria, and various Men's Interest mags. Would they do other adult magazines? What about digest sized?
  8. Artist:Jaime Carillo Purchased from Mike at www.NSNart.com and just got back from framing.
  9. So dude was in the wrong for getting an AF #15 for $300? Whatever. Congrats to that buyer 'cause we all dream of such a chance.
  10. That Vampire Tales annual is a great read. Congrats on that beauty!
  11. Finally found a great copy of this gem! RedRaven, I've been wanting to get into Pulps but kinda shied away due to the prices. They have really jumped over the years.

  13. But doesn't this refer to the interior work on the books after a certain point? I don't remember reading anything about the cover work being done this way. I don't think we can assume the covers were done the same way the interiors were. I used to think that until I reread that BackIssue #21. Janson, in that DD article, describes what techniques he used to get the desired look/mood for the book. Using two pieces of comic board and ink wash sounds like something he would do. Not saying this isn't a Miller piece, I'm just saying.
  14. These are Miller Breakdowns to a splash page for issue #190. Finished page:
