ATT borrowed heavily to get WB etc 150 billion, the execs don't give a crude about DC printed comic books unless they make money....I understand that ATT will dump DC or sell it with along with WB pictures. Whomever buys the lot, could sell it again piece by piece. I believe printed comic books will be limited to the big name characters until this is sold or resolved, look for the end 2021 to be the last year for printed comic books from DC unless they turn a profit. Look for minor effects from this change on the OA market short term, but Long term look for a significant negative effect.

I would second that...saw the story of world record price of 1.5 million in Hollywood Reporter...this market uptick is getting know world wide...

It makes it more important in the 7th superman vs 7th Batman..I think year is a factor in it favor.

I disagree with that 1938 vs 1939...the impact that book had changed the comic book world, personally stories are about even, I just recently reread those on youtube...great read and they are both great , I think Whiz 2, is right up there with them...1940..or course ,Cap1 is a better read but its 1941 but each GA years the comics evolved better and better...cover of A1...amazing.

I agree,. Restored copies should also see increased demand, especially if they have some potential to change them to conserved label...somebody is going make big bucks on that kind of move, similar to the Det#2 which was just auctioned off and a change to blue label.

the two page origin story is classic...I think anything 7.0 is right up there with those numbers..especially 8.0 or above.

After this sale, this will elevate the 8.0 into possibly the 2 million dollar level....this is just the beginning ...it it not just limited to GA/SA comic books, the high end market for Pokenman cards has exploded...just look at that bid of $280K for a box of the cards in the same auction...this is not a one and done type sale...this is market upswing on a very few speculator type super keys....its here now.
