    I'll do the first one to kick it off. The movie Stand By Me has a scene where Gordie LaChance (Wil Wheaton) is seeing reading a copy of DC's Gang Busters comic. The movie is set in September 1959 and the issue shown is Gang Busters #66, on sale August 1958.

    I don't understand the model/statue market. I have a friend that got a small fortune for selling one of these MIB about 10-15 years ago, but they seem to be going for cheap now on eBay (unless they're knockoffs or something). He even got over $100 just for the box he had saved from the one he had assembled.

    That was always one of my favorite things about Flash when I was a kid.

    I finally watched the latest episode last night. I like the dynamics of Team Arrow. Felicity is a great character and is fun to watch. Every time I watch this show I like it a little bit more. I can't quite put my finger on why, but the writers have done a great job in bringing the comic book experience to the screen and that may have a lot to do with it. I'm looking forward to Flash and hope it has the same sort of feel to it. Conversely, I was really looking forward to Agents of Shield, but after forcing myself to sit through a half dozen episodes I just couldn't stand it anymore and haven't watched it since.

    That's also why you see a fair amount of people over there who create a lot of long one-page journal entries but never respond to replies and questions - they either haven't created a chat-room account or don't want to (some feel it's a little too hostile).

    There are two sign-ups: one on the CGC side for Registry and Journals, the other is for this chat room. If I remember correctly, you start the journal on the CGC side, and then continue using it on the chat room side. So you only have to go to the CGC side once.
